Douglas C54 Captmercy Dvslats
(Category: CFS2 > Aircraft)
32.07Mb (394 downloads)
The Douglas C-54 Skymaster was a four-engined transport aircraft used by the United States Army Air Forces in World War II and the Korean War. Like the Douglas C-47 Skytrain, the C-54 Skymaster was derived from a civilian airliner, the Douglas DC-4. Besides transport of cargo, the C-54 also carried presidents, prime ministers, and military staff. Dozens of variants of the C-54 were employed in a wide variety of non-combat roles such as air-sea rescue, scientific and military research, and missile tracking and recovery. During the Berlin Airlift it hauled coal and food supplies to West Berlin. After the Korean War it continued to be used for military and civilian uses by more than 30 countries. This was one of the first aircraft to carry the President of the United States.

BB58 AP Fuel Engines & misc
(Category: FS Gauges > FS Gauges)
1.06Mb (394 downloads)
For use in the Saitek FIP specifically for the FSX B58. It is an update of the BB58 gauge in the package and my package. Using this new package will require
having downloaded these previous ones.
This package radically re-works the original BB58 gauge. It contains a working auto pilot and fuel gauges similar to the BB58s. The AP gauge functions across two xml files, one primarily to control ALT and VS, the other for HDG with a range of misc features including AP NAV and APR modes. Other features include Nav1 and Nav2 audio buttons which include a
small green light when a glideslope frequency is detected.
Both LARGEg1 and g2 from have been modified to maximise the screen space of the FIP. The g1 gauge has also been modified by inclusion of a rudimentary glideslope indicator to aid in manual approach well before approach lights are
visible. The above AP gauge enables auto flight down a glideslope using Nav1 frequency.
The above gauges are designed for three FIPs stacked vertically to provide a layout roughly similar to the BB58 cockpit.
The 5gaugeDisplay-2eng.xml gauge was included in the original package to cater for one FIP displaying all engine data. This package provides an updated version B containing the glideslope indicator.

FSX Basler BT-67 Royal Thai Air Force 46-158 Textures
(Category: FSX > Props)
12.85Mb (394 downloads)
FSX Bazler BT-67 repaint textures for the real world Royal Thai Air Force 46-158.
For the wonderful Jahn-Fuernkaess-Metzger-Naegele BT-67, which you must
have previously installed in FSX. Having worn at least three different
liveries between 2004 and 2010 while in service with the Thai Air Force,
this subdued dark bluish gray version of 46-158 dates back to Aug. 26, 2004,
the day the photo that this repaint was based on was taken. Although painted
as close to the photograph's colors as my previous eye surgeries allow me to
perceive, I'm tending to believe that the aircraft is actually more gray than blue.
Anyway, the photo can be seen at Airliners.net by entering the photographer's
name, Sakpinit Promthep, into their search engine. Rumor has it that this
airframe currently resides in pieces in a hangar at Wittman Regional in Oshkosh,
Wisconsin, and now affectionately goes by the nickname "44 mag", although I
think I'd have to see that with my own eyes to believe it! Includes engine
exhaust smoke coordinates for all four exhaust stacks for those of you who like
smokey engines. Screenshots enclosed. Easy installation. By Tom Tiedman

Woensdretch
(Category: CFS1 > Scenery)
1.98Mb (394 downloads)
The "Woensdretch" scenery shows the default CFS airfield with the enlargement and upgrading developed during German occupation in the Second World War, and attempt to be approximated to the reality showing the airport like it (may) have looked like in WWII days. Also, I have included the Fokker maintenance facilities (located at south west of airforce base), the Bergen's channel system, and the nearby airstrips Midden-Zeeland and Seppe.
After the occupation of the Netherlands by Germany in 1940, the Luftwaffe started using the field, significantly expanding and upgrading the base with a asphalt runway. (I don't 100% sure of this, but it is seen better than the empty CFS/default Woensdretch).
This scenery places asphalt Runway, not showed on the default CFS scenery, NDB beacon antenna, buildings, fields, trees, ground vehicles, static planes, searchlights and more to the default CFS scenery of Woensdretch, Midden-Zeeland and Seppe.
The default CFS scenery supply the AFD menu entry for Woensdretch (now the ramp), but you can start from new asphalt runway choosing Woensdrecht Rwy7 on the menu entry. You need have installed the CFSAIRP.ZIP of Pieter van Wyk, to capture the Woensdretch's NDB frequency (272 khz) through the Bendix ADF.
To see the dutch trucks, you need have installed the objects library of James Elwood, (included on this zip). Copy objlib.bgl file to main CFS/scenery folder.

ATTACK ON CALAIS File
By: KG76_CO_Wespe1 (Jamie Walls) This is a "Might Have Happened".
It is quite possible for the RAF to sneak in a carrier and attack
German planes on the ground. This mission needs specific add-on planes.
Greg Law's He177a5, Blond_Knights Bf110c Zorsterer, William Tell's
Bf109e "#CCCC66 Nose", and C. Muir's Beaufighter TFX. Scenery Needed
is the GZR_Calais Base. I took care of the rest. RAF Bomber Command
has sent B-24's to bomb Calais. You are bieng sent in to assess damage
and add to it as needed. Knock out the He177a5 Griffons and Bf110c's
on the ground But look out for patroling Me109's! The flak at Calais
is horrendous and very realistic. I used actual German flak guns for
this mission, as well as some Japanese AA. Comments and suggestions
are welcome. Jamie Walls. 5K

Mk XII Spit
Mk XII- I got the specs out of a book on WWII aircraft.Interesting
enough, one of these was credited with the 1rst Me-292 kill. Thought
it would be cool. so, heres what we have , a Cfs Spit MkI revamped
to have the corrct horsepower and guns for what it was.I used Mk I
textures and repainted them a bit(the EEB squad markings are from
the photo of it). Kevin Bacon. 573K
