Emb110P-Embraer Bandeirante-Talair Textures
(Category: FSX > Props)
1.88Mb (400 downloads)
This is a repaint of the Emb110P, the original model with two textures was made by: RanchoJEN models-Brazil. They are the Copyright holders.
I made a repaint in the colours of 'Talair', a company that was active in Papua New Guinea until the 1990's.
This repaint represents their Bandeirante with the registration P2-RDM. On 6 February 1987, this plane ditched into the ocean on the final approach to Hoskins on the island of New Britain. Only 3 passengers of a total of 17 people on board survived. I was lucky to have left the plane in Lae only 2 hours before that fatal crash.

P3Dv4+ OV-10 Bronco Air Attack Pack
(Category: Prepar3d > Props)
247.24Mb (400 downloads)
The OV-10 Bronco has flown in various services and countries since the late 1960s. In the 1990s the Bronco was introduced into the role as being an air tactical aircraft for aerial firefighting. This package consists of 4 variations of civilianized OV-10 Broncos flown by the Bureau of Land Management, California Dept. of Forestry, and then Cal Fire. The base aircraft is from Tim "Piglet" Conrad and was updated to 4k textures, PBR, bump maps by George Arana. The air attack versions were modified and created by me however. But based on George Atana's extensive base updates. The package includes the standard OV-10A with 3-blade propeller and an external tanked version. The two others are of the current configuration of Cal Fire's OV-10s with the 5-blade propeller and early Cal Fire service OV-10D with 4-blade propeller. The paints included are for the Bureau of Land Management scheme flown on N97LM, CDF AA330 flown out of Ramona AAB, AA310 flown out of Hemet, and lastly AA505 home based out of McClellan AAB, Cal Fire's HQ. In addition to the extensive external updates, I have also modified the interior slightly to represent the civilianized Broncos somewhat. I have also made custom sounds for the OV-10s as each version of the different prop and engine Broncos makes each version sound slightly different than one another. The OV-10 has served as an air tactical platform for aerial firefighting since the 1990s and continues to serve with Cal Fire currently with numerous updates. Aircraft is only compatible in P3Dv4 or newer sims. Cal Fire's current fleet repaint pack is also planned in the future. Original aircraft by Tim Conrad, P3Dv4 conversion George Arana (Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations), Air Attack Conversions by Nicholas Mitchell (Simulated Air Tanker Operations).

Messerschmitt Bf109G-6/AS I./EJG2
(Category: FS2004 > Vintage)
13.28Mb (400 downloads)
Messerschmitt Bf109G-6/AS by Design Team Daedalus Unit: Stab I./EJG2 (Ergänzungsjagdgeschwader 2), Thüringen, April/May 1945 Pilot: unknown senior instructor pilots EJG2 was a night fighter replacement training unit. Senior pilots sometimes flew interception missions as well as training tyros. The first G-6/AS aircraft reached frontline units in early April, 1944 - III/JG, I/JG5 and II/JG11. I/JG3 received them in May and II/JG/27 got theirs in June, along with a few going to NJGr.10. There is no "standard" Bf 109G-6/AS, as the production included conversions of basic G-6 models and different radio equipment, oil cooler types, antenna masts, etc. were available at different times during the production runs. So each model we have created has its own unique features. Pstrany developed the models using Paul Rebuffat's Messerschmitt model - with permission - as a starting framework and updated the shape, and added a plethora of details, new parts, and ideas. Pstrany also developed the models for the drop tanks, weapons and racks. Captain Kurt created paints for each, the 2D instrument panel, the air files and the aircraft.cfg files. Mav SCASM edited each model so that they have animated wing slats, drop tanks, and other features, as well as optimizing models for the best possible frame rates. We have all benefited from the assistance and guidance of others in the community. Special thanks to Wolfi and Huub Vink for their kind assistance and to all who have contributed their knowledge directly and indirectly.
