P3Dv4+ Milviz S-64/CH-54 Skycrane Firefighting Package v2.0
622.29Mb (333 downloads)
This expansion pack for the MilViz/Nemeth S-64/CH-54 Skycrane expands the version 1.0 release of mine some time ago with external tank model replacements for the v1.0 package as well as additional repaints, and several model configurations. The v1.0 package is required as well as the MilViz/Nemeth base product in order to get the full benefit of this package. The package could not have been possible without the original permissions I obtained from MilViz to modify their product, but as well as several members of the community that also assisted in the v1.0 as well as this v2.0 package. This pack as mentioned includes model overhauls of the external tank models, pond snorkels, several new model variations, new main rotor textures, rotor flex animations, and new repaints. New repaints have been included for Evergreen International, Heavy Lift Helicopters, HTS/Simplex, Canadian Air-Crane, Korea Forest Service, Vigili del Fuoco, and several repaint overhauls to Helicopter Transport Services and Siller Bros Fleet textures, and model tweaks from V1.0. Version 1.0 is not necessarily required, but certain repaints will not appear at all or properly, and the customs sounds/overhaul will also be missing without installation of v1.0. There are detailed readme files and tank configuration information for use in Lorby's FireFighterX Application. The file size is considerable due to the amount of models, overhauls, and additional textures. Pack also comes with a placeable scenery fuel tender for addon scenery or for placement with FFX. Despite the aircraft originally being compatible with FSX and P3D, this expansion package is ONLY compatible in P3Dv4+ sims due to FSX limitations of the new tanks and animations. Modifications and repaints for this pack done by Nicholas Mitchell "Scorch00" and SATO community member, "Delta."

Finnair Texture for CLS A340-500/600
Finnair Texture for CLS A340-500/600 (Category: FSX > Payware)
4.22Mb (333 downloads)
Finnair texture for the payware CLS A346-556. Finnair operates 4 A340-300's as of 2016, so I thought this would texture would make sense, as maybe in an alternate universe they use 600's instead.

RAF Hooton Park, UK (Category: FSX > Scenery)
1.47Mb (333 downloads)
RAF Hooton Park, on the Wirral Peninsula, Cheshire, was a Royal Air Force station originally built for the Royal Flying Corps in 1917 as a training aerodrome for pilots in World War I. During the early/mid-1930s, it was one of the two airfields (with Liverpool Speke) handling scheduled services for the Merseyside region. Hooton Park was home to No. 610 (County of Chester) Squadron and, post World War II, to No. 611 (West Lancashire) and No. 663 (AOP) Squadron. The airfield closed in 1957 after the disbandment of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force, but the three pairs of Belfast Truss hangars erected in 1917 survived the closure. The site was bought by Vauxhall Motors, who built their Vauxhall Ellesmere Port plant there, which today produces the Vauxhall Astra. A small remaining section of the airfield site is now owned and managed by The Hooton Park Trust. The hangars are also home to The Griffin Trust and an aircraft preservation society named The Aeroplane Collection. Another part of the old airfield, including a length of the old paved runway, perimeter track and the apron used to park Meteor jet fighters, remains in the ownership of The Naylor Trust. A Second World War B1 hangar is also on this site.

Tuskegee Airmen Part I
Tuskegee Airmen Part I (Category: CFS2 > Missions & Campaigns)
181.09Mb (333 downloads)
This is an effort to chronicle the flying history of the Tuskegee Airmen, who began their combat life as the 99th Fighter Squadron, and who later became the 332nd Fighter Group. Starting in April, 1943, this campaign package, split into four parts, covers one hundred and six missions from their beginning in April, 1943 to their end in May, 1945. The total length of the campaign is chopped into four smaller campaigns because of the limits of AI aircraft. All of the aircraft in this package have been modified, when necessary, to include the appropriate repaints, when possible, for the aircraft. I've also included modified .dp files for each aircraft which correct information in the [MISC.DATA] section that I found to be in error. To lessen issues with frame rates with many waves of aircraft in the sky, all exhaust effects have been removed, if they were included in the original models. Additionally, all weapons required for the aircraft have been included. My deepest gratitude to all of the contributors listed in the README.
