Updated FS2000/2002 Bell / Fuji AH-1S Cobra Attack Helicopter Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, 1st Attack Helicopter Sq. For Flight Simulator 2000 or later version. One of the largest operators of the "Cobra" has been the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. AH-1S Cobra is the licence-built, and improved attack helicopter of the Bell AH-1 Cobra. Fuji Heavy Industry as the subcontractor and have made about 50 AH-1S. Some of them was updated with improved weapon and avionics systems such as HUDs, digital displays, etc. Now, the Japan Defense Agency is thinking to change all of the old AH-1S to the Boeing AH-64D Apache Longbow in order to maintain their militay strength. CFS3 Nationality Expansion Kit ~ Redux Edition - Required Main File. The CFS3 Nationality Expansion Kit (NEK) ~ Redux Edition adds 14 nationalities to CFS3 in a standardized format along with 40 new pilot biographies, 22 repainted pilot models, medal images for the Royal Navy, Free France, Italy, Japan, Russian & the US Navy as well as several other support files. The new nationalities are used by various add-on aircraft, and missions, in the Quick Combat, Single Mission and Multiplayer environments. The new nationalities can also be used to develop modified campaigns. The NEK corrects some errors in the stock files which control the cutscenes and user interface (UI) for more reliable operation; plus, it adds support for aircraft and vehicle spawning over previously undefined areas of the CFS3 map such as Italy. Finally, for extra convenience, the NEK now includes the "RAF County Switcher" (cswap.exe) by Charles Simpson and Martin Wright. The Redux Edition of the NEK supercedes all previous editions and parts; the old version and parts are no longer supported. It is safe to install the Redux Edition over top of the previous versions. FS2004 Sikorsky S-42 "Brazilian Clipper" NC-822M Sikorsky 4-engine flying boat flown by Pan American Airways 1934-1944. Used in Caribbean and South America, carrying up to 32 passengers and 5 crew. Range 1200 miles at cruising speed of 150 mph. At the time it was the largest plane built in the United States. NC-822M was first of 10 S-42s delivered to Pan Am. FSDS3.5 model with virtual cockpit, passenger compartment, custom XML gauges including prop synchronizer. Animated fore and aft hatches. Model based on Sikorsky documents from New England Air Museum and photos from U. of Miami library. A flying boat, not an amphibian. No true landing gear, but beaching gear provided. FS2004/FSX Brewster Buffalo F2a3 shipboard fighter In 1939, the F2A became the first monoplane fighter aircraft used by the US Navy. Later versions had a more powerful Wright R-1820-40 Cyclone engine of 1,200 hp (895 kw), a better propeller, and integral flotation gear, but still lacked pilot armor and self-sealing fuel tanks. Both the F2A-2 and the F2A-3 variants of the Brewster were liked by early Navy and Marine pilots, including Pappy Boyington, who praised the good turning and manoeuvring abilities of the aircraft. I have changed all the light sizes, changed the position of a few of them, and deleted two lights. I changed the position of the wing tip contrails slightly. I had to buy a new joystick recently and found that with the new Saitek stick there was too much aileron and elevator.
