The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model blended with Ken Wiggington's work on the default 737 VC to make it more resemble a 787 and possibly the new 777-9X! This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing sounds included for that extra realism. This FSX updated package, originally developed by the RanchoJen Team for FS2004, is a compilation of the two original textures and two great repaints. It features a completely new reworked and enhanced realistic VC, and the original great 2D panel with now FSX compatible gauges, so both panels now match entirely. Original model by the RanchoJen Team, two additional textures by Antonio Diaz, first VC update, pop-up windows and gauges by Philippe Wallaert, who also fixed the graphic VC issue in FSX, new enhanced VC and 2D panel configuration as well as new smoke effect by Michael Pook.

FS2004 Boeing 797 House Colors. There are as yet no official plans for any Boeing 787 or 797. Up until a couple years ago, most people believed Boeing's next major project might be a follow-on to the 747 to compete with Airbus's super-jumbo A380. While Boeing pushed developing an upgraded 747 model, most airlines indicated that they would prefer an entirely new design instead. The only publicly released concept I've come across for this potential new-build aircraft is shown below. Boeing's internal designation for this design study was the 763-246C. If it had gone into production, it would likely have been rechristened the 787 to conform to the standard Boeing naming convention. Model & textures by J R Lucariny. 1.9MB

Customized engine startup smoke and high altitude contrails are now enabled by MS for use on each aircraft, jet or prop, single or multi-engine, by using the FS9 version of the aircraft.cfg's [EFFECTS] section to specify them. The temperature below which the contrails occur can also be defined in aircraft.cfg by the user. DC-3 startup smoke, contrails, and tire- mark (14" wide) are included in the d/l.
