FS2004 Disco Vollante', (Italian for flying saucer). This is a STOL lifting body vehicle designed to take-off as well as land in sectored highways that allow flying vehicle access interfacing. It is another concept for the future of personal air transportation that would make flying much like driving a car. The Disco utilizes ducted fans in a 2 stage dual network of thruster tunnels, powered by a wankel rotary turbo charged and fuel injected engine, all buried neatly within its little hull. A high rpm gyroscope mounted between driver and engine enduces yaw and roll control which enables flying sideways like a helicopter without flight control surfaces. This model features opening perspex/canopy, retracting landing gear, working suspension, working and retracting and turning Cam Pod, retracting STOL wing foils for low speed landings, custom panel, opening belly scoop, 6 diffrent colors with dynamic shine and reflection, and instructions on how to drive your new 'vehicle' in the world of tomorrow. This is Krzysztof Malinowski/Robert Hawk's P-40 Warhawk modified For Flight Simulator X. This is David "Tex" Hill's Aircraft he Flew with the famed AVG Flying Tigers. Tex replaced Jack Newkirk as commander of the 2nd Squadron Panda Bears in March 1942. Devoted to Chennault, he was one of only five Flying Tigers who accepted induction into the U.S. Army in July 1942. He was given the rank of major and the command of the 75th Fighter Squadron. On his second combat tour in China, he served as commander of the 23rd Fighter Group, and after the war earned general's rank in the Texas Air National Guard. During an eight-month period, a handful of swift, heavily armed P-40's destroyed 297 Japanese aircraft. Twelve of those fell from the sky under the guns of Tex Hill's P-40 Warhawk. FSX Cessna 208B For FSX Carrier After publishing my FSX AI Carrier package (here) I had several people contact me about cable trapping. Well obviously at the time of writing we can't do that. We need Pete Dowson to make us a new FSX FSUIPC for a start and then we need guys who are cleverer than me to work out how to use the data generated to create traps and catapults. But there is an alternative which is both challenging and good fun at the same time. As you know, the FSX carrier is on the small side and although anyone can land planes like the FSX Trike and the FS2004 Cub on it pretty easily, anything much bigger is not really on. So what I've done is modify the FS2004 Cessna Grand Caravan a wee bit. I've given it bigger flaps which obviously have quite a bit more drag. I've also beefed the brakes up a bit and given you a wee bit more reverse thrust. This baby you can land on the FSX carrier ........ if you're good enough!
