FS2004 Quad City Challenger II Package. The Challenger Two, first introduced in 1984 is a tandem seat two place pusher in a trigear configuration. The aluminum tubing fabric covered craft uses bolt and rivet construction covered in either dacron sail cloth or conventional aircraft covering materials. Building times vary depending on the type of covering materials used. The design was one of the first true three axis control two place ultralights on the market and has survived to this day as one of the leaders in the field.. There are reported to be nearly 3200 built and flying to date. It has evolved though the years and now there are clipped wing,  ski and amphibeous float versions! By Lynn and Bill Lyons. 8.6MB

FSX Airspeed Horsa Glider.The Horsa glider was used by the RAF in it's WW2 airborne operations. It was bigger than the American Waco CG-4 and carried 30 troops vs. the Waco's 15. This is a FSDS v3.51 project compiled with Xtomdl into FSX (SP-2). It has the usual animations plus opening door, steps and tail cone. The 2D panel and VC are based on a picture and the VC has animated controls. A Low Definition model of a Handley Page Halifax is included for use as a glider tug. This package contains upgraded wing textures for the default 737-800 in FSX. The textures have had the exit decals and black markings on the wings removed seamlessly through the use of layer deletion. The mipmaps have also been removed from the image to make it appear in high detail at distance, even on low-performance computers.
