FSX Alfs UK airfields Package 1. Although FSX scenery is a great improvement on FS2004, there are still many small airfields in the UK with little or no details. This file includes EGSL Andrewsfield, EGSQ Clacton, EGWC Cosford, EGTR Elstree, EGMD Lydd, EGTZ Old Warden [See Old Warden ReadMe] EGHP Popham. They were compiled using aerial views from Google Earth, Pooleys UK Flight Guide, FSX SDK Object Placement Tool and AFX v1.04 running under Vista (not recommended by Flight1). The main problem seemed to be in compiling 'excludes'. In some cases I made seperate exclude files and with perseverence it worked with me. I hope it works in your set-up. Alf Denham. 3.6MB

Make sure you have your scenery terrain settings at about 5 metres in the FSX display dialogue for the mesh to show properly! Includes: CO, NE, KS, IA, MO, IL, IN, KY.

North American A-5 Vigilante updated now with reflective glass, HUD and new VC. It's old, but so pretty...FSX native conversion, full original Alphasim Vigilante with VC. All functions and animations correct in sense and direction, per original FS2004 release.Version 2 updates materials and restores the coded lights. Conversion facilitated by a terrific set of freeware tools; Arno's MDLX with a breakthrough set of new XML definitions by Henk-BRAVO ZULU! Textures in DDS DXT3 format with Martin Wright's DXTBMP, file structure in FSX format. Skullsweat and conversion by LLS. While the model comes in a bit heavier, the frames are buttery, the glass is c'est bon. Note: The VC was pretty badly out of date, so I aliased Piglet's T-2 virtual cockpit. Base package for effects is Bob Chilco's A-5 updates. The repaints by Antonio Diaz for this model are highly recommended. This is a fictional texture only for the Project Airbus A320 Sharklets model by Angel Morales. This is NOT an aircraft currently in use by BA, but this texture can be used to the imagination of the flight sim enthusiast. BA currently operate 61 Airbus A320s that fly to places like Rome, Tenerife, Ibiza and more. Credit goes to Chris Evans on the original British Airways textures and then to Angel Morale for the availability of the PA A320 Sharklets model in FSX.

DX10 Shader Fixes V3.2.3. These are a set of shader fixes for DX10 Preview mode in FSX. The patch should not effect DX9 in any way. It addresses the following bugs in the DX10 preview: 1) Flashing runways/taxiways 2) Yellow/white runway markings transparency 3) Opaque chain fences 4) Progressive Taxi markings missing 5) Missing night scenery/semi-transparent dusk scenery (often misdescribed as missing night textures) 6) Some addon cars with black headlights 7) Softer VC shadow 8) Eliminates false sun on VC roof and side wall 9) ORBX FTX Global lights with black background rectangles fixed Also included are an optional replacement water shade, aircraft lights package and an optional replacement background texture. This can replace the light blue DX10 uses and is close to what DX9 uses in the same circumstances.
