This is a Repaint of Tim Conrad's F-5 Freedom Fighter Updated For Flight Simulator X This Aircraft is painted in a Desert Camo Paint The F-5 started life as a privately funded light fighter program by Northrop in the 1950s. The first generation F-5A Freedom Fighter entered service in the 1960s. Over 800 were produced through 1972 for U.S. allies during the cold war. The USAF had no need for a light fighter, but it did specify a requirement for a supersonic trainer and procured about 1,200 of a derivative airframe for this purpose, the T-38 Talon. Many F-5s continuing in service into the 1990s and 2000s have undergone a wide variety of upgrade programs to keep pace with the changing combat environment. The F-5 was also developed into a dedicated reconnaissance version, the RF -5 Tigereye. Textures and Upgrades by Mark Rooks of RDG Aircraft Please read the Read Me File

FS2004/2002 Douglas F4D-1 Skyray. (Category: FS2004 > Military)
2.66Mb (4731 downloads)
FS2004/2002 Douglas F4D-1 Skyray. The F4D-1 was the initial production version of the Skyray. F4D-1s were used by a total of eleven Navy squadrons and six Marine Corps fighter squadrons, as well as by three reserve squadrons and by several specialized units. However, The service life of the Skyray with the Navy and USMC was relatively brief, since the aircraft was specialized to the high-altitude interception role and lacked the multi-mission capability that was becoming increasingly important. The Skyray had a good climb rate, a high ceiling, a relatively high speed, and a good radar, all features which made it a good interceptor. However, it had a reputation of being a difficult plane to fly. Three kinds of model(Clear / with Pylon / with Weapon) are included. by Kazunori Ito. 2.7MB
