This is a Repaint of Tim Conrad's F-5 Freedom Fighter Updated For Flight Simulator X This Aircraft is painted in a Desert Camo Paint The F-5 started life as a privately funded light fighter program by Northrop in the 1950s. The first generation F-5A Freedom Fighter entered service in the 1960s. Over 800 were produced through 1972 for U.S. allies during the cold war. The USAF had no need for a light fighter, but it did specify a requirement for a supersonic trainer and procured about 1,200 of a derivative airframe for this purpose, the T-38 Talon.Many F-5s continuing in service into the 1990s and 2000s have undergone a wide variety of upgrade programs to keep pace with the changing combat environment. FS2004 Greyshade GSH-01 Custom Speeder As seen In "Attack of the Clones", the GSH-01 was a custom-built "hot rod" speeder from Senatore Greyshade's private vechicle shops. "Borrowed" by Jedis Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi to chase down Senator's Padme's assassian in the skies over Curoscant, home world of the Republic. FS2004 Gippsland GA-8 Airvan Package. The high wing GA8 Airvan was specifically designed to fill the gap between the Cessna 206 and the Cessna Caravan. Developed to handle the gruelling conditions of the Australian landscape, the Airvan is ideal for operators in remote areas faced with rugged terrain and basic conditions. In particular, the Airvan is capable of operating on short bush airstrips illustrated by its ability to take off to clear a height of 50ft in only 550 metres (1800 ft) at a gross weight of 1,814kg or 4,000lbs with a landing distance of 370 metres (1200) over the same height. X-Plane Alenia C-27J Spartan. This Alenia C-27J Spartan (MM 62218) has the liveries of 46 Aerobrigata, Aeronautica Militare Italiana, 2007. The C-27J, advanced derivative of the G.222 and called by some the Mini Herc, has fulfilled the specifications of the Joint Cargo Aircraft (JCA) program in the Usa and ordered in 78 units for the USAAF and the Army.
