FS2004 Curtiss SB2C Helldiver. The Curtiss SB2C Helldiver was an American aircraft carrier-based dive bomber produced for the United States Navy during World War II. It replaced the Douglas SBD Dauntless in US Navy service. Despite its size, the SB2C was much faster than the SBD it replaced. Crew nicknamed the aircraft 'the Big-Tailed Beast' (or just the Beast). Textures will work only with the Dreamwings version 3 Embraer Erj 170 (must download US Airways Express Embraer Erj 170 (here) ; note: due to a typo, in original Readme file of this model version was denoted as "v2"). DXT3 bitmaps with Alpha reflections. Panel was made as all-in-one-window major rework of Ken Mitchell's Embraer 170 panel. That required the design of entirely new main bitmap and redistribution of gauges. FSX B-2A Stealth Bomber. The B-2A Stealth Bomber is the most sophisticated aircraft on the planet. She is essentially a 'Flying Wing' platform with no V-Tail, and is controlled by pre-programed flight computers stationed in various positions within the crew cabin and wings. There is one main computer that controls the aircraft, with two redundant back-up computers assigned to it in case of failure. All additional computers are assigned to functions involving flight control, system monitoring, data communications, and radar. Engine and aerodynamic effects are controlled by these computers which serve several actuators and ailerons, including the spoilerons, which further compensate for the lack of a V-Tail. In theory, and because of these computers, the aircraft is “Stall-Proof”. The only way it can stall is if the computers fail. There is no way she can be flown without the computers active. The REAL aircraft does almost everything based on pre-programed data, other than taxi to the runway (although this is also possible to program). Before each flight, the Mission is designed and then assigned to the Mission Flight Box (Portable Computer) which is then carried by the Commander to the aircraft, and the data from the box is “transferred” to the main on-board computers. Because of this, the B-2 cannot be flown until the box is ready for the mission, and pilots cannot simply jump in and fly her, with the exception that the data is transferred via satellite. FS2002 ((not fully fs2004 compatible - if used click NO when asked to disable non compatible stuff)) Dambuster Lancaster (Type 464) Dambuster Anniversary Flight: Fly my restored Dambuster Lancaster (Type 464) warbird to the Ruhr Valley and replicate the 1943 attack on the Moehne and Eder Dams. This aircraft is the original FS98/CFS1 aircraft of January 2000 by Keith Clifford (Lanc15.zip) as was used in my CFS1 DB Tribute but now converted for flying in FS2002. The panel update to modern FS2002 instruments still uses Roger Lowery's RAF662 B1 Lancaster bitmap as ammended for my CFS1 Dambuster Tribute of Jan 2004. The original Lancaster files are included for designer acknowlegement and have been the source files for the conversion in the FS2002 editor. Dams scenery provided with 3 flights. I wonder if you can qualify as a 617 Squadron Lancaster pilot, flight engineer, navigator and bomb aimer or be rejected as not being good enough? Packaged by Ross McLennan.
