GENERAL ATOMICS RQ-1A PREDATOR UAV. Hard working Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) of the Bosnian and current Enduring Freedom operations. The RQ-1 can collect and transmit data without endangering any aircrews' lives. The panel and "cockpit" views are set up to "simulate" the Ground Controller Station's pilot monitor. Only the front view panel has working gauges. I could have put working gauges on all the views, but that would drop frame rates way too low, and view transitions way too long. The aircraft are simply revisions of my FS2004 Passenger In The Cabin Project but are only provided in standard VC mode for FSX. Because these FSX versions are based on my FS2004 PIC project, they have full autopilot control including speed but being floats, not amphibians, have no VOR1 or Nav hold facility. The aircraft can also be setup to drop Heather Sherman's parafoils. It is recommended you fly in Alaska or elsewhere from defined water runways. FSX updated version September 2010.
