Nanga Parbat, Karakoram Range, Detailed Mountain Scenery
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
60.05Mb (4314 downloads)
At 8,125m, it is the ninth tallest mountain in the world. Nanga Parbat is geographically a part of the Himalayas, located in relative isolation at the westernmost end of the range in Pakistan. Of the world's fourteen highest mountains, ten are Himalayan peaks: Mount Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Nanga Parbat, Annapurna and Shisha Pangma. Only four are located in within the Karakoram Range: K2, Gasherbrum I and II, and Broad Peak. K2 is the tallest mountain in the Karakoram Range and her three 8000m neighbors lie within 20 km. Nanga Parbat is 200 km away. Karakoram is a large mountain range spanning the borders between Pakistan, China, and India, located in the regions of Gilgit, Ladakh, and Baltistan. It is one of the Greater Ranges of Asia, often considered together with the Himalaya, but not technically part of that range. By Frank Dainese

A330-200 Dragonair 20th Anniversary.
Project Open Sky’s Airbus A330-200 equipped with Rolls Royce
engines. Painted to the Dragonair 20th Anniversary's colours.
I’m proud to present you the fictive A330-200 version. I had
to slightly modify few details to fit the fuselage properly.
Connoisseurs will notice the front cargo door which is painted
completely on my version. I thought it would be nice to complete
the job they never finished in real life. Completely painted
from scratch, the entire textures templates including the alphas
and night effect are absolutely brand new. Typical night lighting.

The basis of this software was for those of us that manually
add AI traffic using Traffic Tools (req'd - above). It can sometimes
be difficult entering the correct time can sometimes become
confusing, especially when daylight savings time is involved.

UNITED Post Merger Livery Boeing 767-224/ER (N76156)
(Category: FS2004 > Civil Jets)
11.75Mb (4310 downloads)
As I looked around, I could not find the UNITED Airlines post Continental Merger livery in the Project Opensky Boeing 767 V4 model. I'm sure some of you all still fly this excellent freeware model, so here she is. This is one of UNITED's 8 remaining B762's. This aircraft flies regularly from Newark (KEWR) to Munich, Paris (Charles de Gaulle) and Milan. From Houston (KIAH) it flies regularly to Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. It also makes regular flights between Houston and Newark. This detailed repaint has custom GE engine textures, front to back. As with my recent AMX SKYTEAM repaint, I wanted to accentuate the chrome finish on the cowl intakes as well as the polish on the exhaust housing. The tail logo is also hand painted. All repainted textures are 32-bit without mip maps. This is a complete install and contains all Project Opensky B762 V4 provided files current to Version 2004.8.0. The sound is from the default B737. Please select Zip file preview to view screenshots included with this package. Repaint by Jeffrey S. Bryner.

Horten H-VII
(Category: FSX > Vintage)
12.88Mb (4310 downloads)
Horten H-VII, experimental flying wing and trainer. Based on the experiences of the smaller H-Vc, the two-seated H-VII made its first flight in May 1943. The H-VII was powered by two Argus AS-10-SC engines driving two-bladed constant-speed propellers via extension shafts. The aircraft had a fully retractable twin nosewheel undercarriage. The aircraft could reach a max. speed of 340 km/hr. The paintings were in Luftwaffe camouflage, assigned to the RLM-no.8-226
This extraordinary aircraft probably suffered the same fate as the H-Vc and was burned after US troops occupied the Goettingen airfield in april 1945. Has 2d panel(No VC). By Andreas Becker.
