The Solent was a large and powerful flying boat airliner of 1946 built for BOAC and TEAL (Tasman Empire Airways Ltd). The last Solent was retired in 1960. A Solent 3 of BOAC and Solent 4's of TEAL (early and late) and Aquila Airways included. Version 3 model with much better panel and virtual cockpit. For FS2004, an FSX version is available separately. The Meteor would never have been built if the Gloster E29/39
had not proved successful. Only two E28/39's (unofficially known
as the Gloster Pioneer) were built but they proved the viability
of the turbojet as a power source for a fighter aircraft and
paved the way for the jet age to begin in Britain. FSDS2 model

This scenery is good for missions.
The airport name is FSX -Carrier/Strait of Hormuz, the carrier is off the coast of Oman in the Strait of Hormuz.
Has a few Cruisers and Destroyers around it, as a carrier battle group. Carrier has LOC/DME 109.15 Mhz. 30 NM. range(no back coarse or glide sloap).
NBD Frequency is 212 Khz., with a range of 100 NM. VOR ident: FSH .

Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser

The PA-12 was produced by Piper from 1946 to 1948. It was called the J-5C until Piper changed its nomenclature scheme. It could carry three people with the pilot sitting alone in the front and side-by-side passengers behind. It was flown solo from the front. This is a FSX native project. It has a slight specular shine and reflective glass. The exterior and interior are modeled from Paul Matt's excellent drawings. The VC has working gauges and animated flight controls. Control surface droop for POSKY 777v2 This file contain the modified xml files required to make alierons, flaperons and elevators droop after both engines are shut down on ground. Tested in fs2004 on 777-200s, supposed to work with the future -300 releases as well. To install this, you need to have POSKY 777v2 installed properly first. Then unzip the content of this file to replace the existing xml files found in panel/posky777 folder. ** Always backup your original files first ** For details about how to install POSKY 777v2, please refer to the instructions in 777v2 package. xml files originally designed by Project Opensky
