This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX, representing Y-45 of the Royal Dutch Naval Air Force (MLD). On 21 february 1942, Y-45 rescued 27 people from a life boat of the SS "Sloet van Beele". The rescued sailors told that was another life boat containing 80 people, so after dropping off its first load, the Y-45, flown by Mans Dorre, took off again. After searching for hours, the life boat was found, containing 79 sailors. All were stowed on board the PBY, and returned to safety, although some of them later died of exhaustion. In all, 230 people were saved that day, from the "Sloet van Beele" and the destryer "van Nes". The Y-45 later escaped to Australia, where it served for most of the war, after which it was scrapped. FSX/Acceleration VFW Fokker VAK-191B VTOL fighter bomber prototype. Great Britain, Italy and Germany began 1961 a common develepment of a VTOL fighter project. Some years later the three countries seperated the common development and continiued in different projects. Germanys VAK-191B made its first flight in 1971, Germany's parallel supersonic project EWR VJ-101 made its first flight in 1963, Italys Fiat G.95 supersonic project was abandoned in 1986 and Britains Hawker P.1127 led via the Kestrel finally to the Harrier; the only one which went into production. Today the VAK-191B is displayed in the Deutsche Museum Munich at the historical airport Oberschleissheim together with the VTOL supersonic fighter prototyp EWR VJ-101 and the VTOL-transporter prototype Do-31E3. My package provides the VAK-191B prototype and the proposed fighter bomber with weapons and a fictional camo paint scheme. The FS model has 59 moving parts and has an excellent and easy to fly VTOL flight behavior. The VTOL option comes from the great RCB-gauges from Rob Barendregt. This is a whole airplane with 2D-panel and VC, regarding to the original instrument panel. FSDS 3.5 model and panel by Erwin Welker.

FS2004 Hollywood Sign Having trouble finding the Hollywood sign which is half buried in the Terrian Mesh, when overflying the Hollywood Hills area of Burbank\Los Angeles, well not any longer. I have made a flatten BGL file so that the HOLLYWOOD Sign is now raised up and fully exposed. Also, I have added a NDB to the Burbank airport AFCAD file which puts an NDB right beside the Hollywood sign so now you can find the sign from any direction. Clive Ryan. 66K

I made this priliminery for me to fly around the world in but put alot of effort into the paint so decided I would release it! This paint is based around a Union Flag. This is a repaint of Kirk Olsen's F-16 in Black Ops. It Features the Lawrence Cav. (fictional) Patch on the pilot's left shoulder. Also features repainted Aim 9M missiles. It is Off-black so that I was able to make it not look flat and thus has the markings of the non-repainted ones.

This package contains 2 sets of camera views ( defined by camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg file ) for the beautiful Iris Simulations ex-payware Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor ( Lightning II ). Beware : this package is meant to be used with the "FSX F-22A Raptor Package". A F-22A model by Virtavia is also available but I did not test my views with that one. Version 1.0 cameras are located at about the same level of the aircraft. Version 2.0 is based on version 1.0 but some of the cameras are placed at a higher level. 10 cameras pointing at the aircraft - including a new "Top-down" zoomable view.
