FSX Anderson Greenwood Model 14 Package. The Anderson Greenwood Model 14 was a light GA aircraft first designed/ built in 1950. Only five were ever made, with a least one still flying. Unique in its twin tailboom and fuselage pod layout, the Model 14 would fit right in with today's sporting planes. This model represents a Model 14 has been around for awhile, and has been customized over the years, with a Lycoming engine, newer panel and more modern gauges, while retaining it's retro finish. VC. AD-6 Skyraider
AD-6 Skyraider
AD-6 Skyraider (Category: CFS2 > Post WW2 Aircraft)
3.68Mb (2780 downloads)
The Douglas AD-2 Skyraider went into service in 1946 and served in the Korean War. She continued with the Navy, Marines and Air Force through Viet Nam into the mid 1970s. She was known as Skyraider, but more frequently referred to a Able Dog and SPAD, an acronym for Special Purpose Attack Douglas or Special Purpose Able Dog. SPAD is also a reference to such an aged prop job still flying in the age of jets. And she took down at least one MiG fighter in a gun duel over Viet Nam. This model in it's original simplified form first appeared in the Fox Four Red Star campaign as an AI. She was created by FangVV, Hayden Scott-Williams, AIR/CFG by Indio Black, Mike Eustace, DP by myself. I have upgraded/updated the source file to player level. Textures are by Sopwith Chameleon, James Peach. http://sopwithc.wetpaint.com The skins represent aircraft of the Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club flying from USS Intrepid in the Viet Nam conflict. The primary skin is Sword and the alternate is Pussy Galore, both US Navy. The model is multi-LOD. She carries a complex panel by Mike Eustace...be sure to read the Panel Instrucitons, and has a rudimentary DVC. Her weapons are by Bbolt and Martin Wright. Installation: Simply place all of the files contained in the folders/subfolders of the download into the corresponding folders/subfolders of your CFS2 main directory. This is freeware, but must not be uploaded to any other site or modified without permission.

Piper J3 Cub - "Postcard From Hell"
Piper J3 Cub - "Postcard From Hell" (Category: FS2004 > Props)
7.31Mb (2780 downloads)
This is a complete aircraft and is intended to replace your standard Cub. I named it - 'POSTCARD FROM HELL !" because of its power plant specs. This Piper really isn't for the inexperienced. Please see enclosed txt file for full description. A few facts about the engine you get with "Postcard From Hell' : It can take off within 20 feet of runway, at full throttle. -It cruises at 192 kts at 1,000 feet altitude. With engine on idle, it can maintain 55 kts cruise at 2,000 feet! I have kept the description of the engine specs to a minimum but let's just say that the compression ratio was increased from 8 to 14:1 and the fuel tank now holds 189 litres instead of the standard 45 litres. Engine output is now 200HP. It remains normally aspirated, ie. not turbo. In a nutshell, BE CAREFUL HOW YOU HANDLE THIS BABY !! It's power to weight ratio is literally from Hell... it can climb at 5,000 fpm and still maintain 157 kts. Area 51 Groom Lake Airbase
Area 51 Groom Lake Airbase (Category: FSX > Scenery)
17.81Mb (2779 downloads)
Area 51 Groom Lake USAF Air Facility. The correct names for the facility are Homey Airport (ICAO: KXTA) and Groom Lake. This V1.1 continues my work on AR51. In V1.0 I added tower comms, and taxiways/signs, in this Version I have gone thru the rest of the airport, and adds the Traffic file and includes 'Janet' 737 & F117 aircraft. You should be able to drop in the files, an go there an see the F117's parked at one end, the 'Janet' flights at the other. If you don't look past the flight line you wont notice anything. I just lightly touched-up things, put what was already there in a sensible orderly manner-buildings are 90 to the road, an have pavement, parking lots, walkways. There's gravel roads that go through all those warehouses, a couple more gravel roads go through the fence to the flight line pavement, sand maintenance roads to the power station and water tower. The pool an ball field have been 'prettied' up, and the fire station has been turned towards the flight line and has fire trucks an ambulance parked. The whole flight line is fenced in and a blast shield behind the F22's parking. That's about it, if you've read this far, your wasting time!- go see have a look around beyond an behind the flight line. I heard rumor there's a UFO hidden in one of the back hangars but I cannot confirm that, its fenced off. Created by Jeff Reed
