Textures for Dino Cattaneo's F-14D Tomcat v2. VF-143 Pukin' Dogs hi-vis CAG scheme originally from F-14A.

This is a scenery of the small German airfield Trier-Fohren EDRT for the Microsoft Flight Simulator X. The scenery contains the airfield with textured tower and buildings. I made this scenery for my usage with photoreal ground textures made with SBuilderX. Unfortunately I have not the rights to distribute the texture layer made with SBuilderX , so I posted this scenery with standard FSX ground textures. That means, that the cars are not in a 100% position onto the standard FSX streets. But if you wish you can add a selfmade SBuilderX layer into the EDRT-scenery-file.

This airport was made using Airport Facilitator X, and Instant Scenery 2. Buffalo Niagara International Airport is located near Buffalo, New York. I have added more gates to the main terminal and all the jetways will show. I also put gates at the cargo area and a few cargo trucks. I made a general aviation terminal with many static GA aircraft. This was based on Google Earth and Bing maps. Your scenery complexity has to be set to normal or higher for anything to show up. Please read the readme for instructions on how to install. Designed to Air Ministry Specification 2/44 the Brabazon was, at the time of it's construction, one of the largest aircraft ever built, being sized roughly between the much later Airbus A300 and Boeing 767 airliners. Despite its vast size, the Brabazon was designed to carry a total of only 100 passengers, each one being allocated their own spacious area about the size of the entire interior of a small car. Designed to pre-war airline standards, the 8 Centarus-powered Brabazon was probably at the practical limit for a piston prop-liner, and was deemed un-economic in the post-war climate, with no orders forthcoming. Often considered a failure, the Type 167 more than met it's design specs, was a pleasant, well mannered machine that pioneered fully powered flight controls, gust alleviation systems, electric engine controls, high-pressure hydraulics and advanced construction techniques. 60% of the program cost went into capital improvements at Filton and elsewhere that served the British industry well in the jet-age. The final verdict must be that the aircraft was a completely successful prototype showing what to do, and what not to do. FSX native update of the JBK Brabazon, which features a full interior, a very nice front office you could park a Rolls-Royce in, tight modelling, smooth flight model, a great autopilot and slippery frame rates. This is the fully updated and compatible freeware add-on for the new France VFR Alsace Scenery 3D automation. This is the result of 4 years of hand modeling by the Alsatian authors (Etien and Laudey1) which add 140 detailed castles, churches, ruins, the main Strasbourg buildings etc. It includes night illuminations as well.

FS2004 HUD. This is a HUD (Heads Up Display) gauge modelled after the F/A-18 Hornet's. It looks very similar to the real thing, and hopefully operates much the same. It features working and properly scaled elements such as a pitch ladder, velocity vector, and AoA bracket, among other essentials (basic flight and nav info), and includes several switches to turn on/off or modify various HUD elements. A good HUD should be a primary flight instrument, and this was designed with that in mind. I've also included a "meatball" gauge, which displays the Navy's IFLOLS lighting system used for carrier landings. The panel, beyond the HUD, is rudimentary and was designed for those who value function and utility over eye candy. (A panel "artist" I am not, heheh!).
