Welcome to the RAF Leeming for FSX package. THis scenery is 'representative' and is NOT true to life in every way. It is designed to give a better than default feel to FSX. RAF Leeming is a Royal Air Force station in North Yorkshire, UK. The station opened in 1940 as a bomber station during the Second World War. In 1943 the station was assigned to No. 6 Group Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) with a sub-station at RAF Skipton-on-Swale. The main aircraft operated were Whitley, Stirling, Halifax and Lancaster bombers. Following the war, the station became a night fighter base, equipped initially with Mosquito and then with Meteor and Javelin aircraft before becoming a Training Command airfield in 1961. The station was then home to No. 3 Flying Training School, equipped with the Jet Provost aircraft.[1] It functioned as a training base until 1988 when it became a front line base in the air defence role equipped with Tornado F3s. Initially it hosted Nos 11, 23, and 25(XXV) Squadrons, all flying the F3.

FSX KLM Douglas DC-6 Textures only. Having been an operator of the Douglas DC-2, DC-3, DC-4 and DC-5, it seemed only logical that KLM (celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2009) purchased the DC-6 for its long-haul routes. Seemed, because KLM already operated the Lockheed L-049 Constellation, the DC-6's competitor. Nevertheless, Connie and DC-6 marched on together quite well. Enclosed in this package are five repaints of DC-6's during several stages in their life with KLM. The 1957 livery of PH-DPP was an interim-livery (see the 'old fashioned' white lettering and the early-fifties style cowlings). The 1962 livery of PJ-DPI seems to have been an attempt to fit into the new house style of KLM without having to respray the fuselage, as the DC-6 reached the end of its KLM carreer anyway. This is an update for FS X acceleration of the Gloster Javelin by Mike Stone. I have updated the flight dynamics and changed a few things on the panel so it works in FS X. No virtual cockpit. You need the original aircraft for this update to work. Bob Chicilo

FS2002/2004 OV-10 Bronco NASA Textures only + Paintkit. Here are the textures for the NASA Research airplane that's based at Langley AFB, Va. This is not a fictional repaint, but one taken from photos of the actual aircraft. Because of texture mapping constraints, the spinners and the metal framework around the canopy cannot be painted. FS2004 Boeing 797 VARIG. There are as yet no official plans for any Boeing 787 or 797. Up until a couple years ago, most people believed Boeing's next major project might be a follow-on to the 747 to compete with Airbus's super-jumbo A380. While Boeing pushed developing an upgraded 747 model, most airlines indicated that they would prefer an entirely new design instead. The only publicly released concept I've come across for this potential new-build aircraft is shown below. Boeing's internal designation for this design study was the 763-246C. If it had gone into production, it would likely have been rechristened the 787 to conform to the standard Boeing naming convention. Model & textures by J R Lucariny. 2.1MB

This is a straight conversion of Mike Gurzeka's original aircraft from FS2000 to CFS2. The DP, AIR, CFG and Panel files are mine. The panel BMP is by Steve Downing. The skin is by SopwithC and represents an aircraft of NG1 serving in Holland and Germany in 1944. She is armed with six 20mm cannon, but does not carry the Schrage Musik 30mm system. I'm doing a new CFS2 dedicated version of this aircraft based on Mike's source file and equipped with the SChrage Musik system, but that's gonna take some time. And the original works so well in CFS2 and is such a unique plane, I thought you'd enjoy her as is. Place the he-218a5 folder in your CFS2/Aircraft folder and the gauges from the download in your CFS2/Gauges folder. You're set. Enjoy!
