Designed to Air Ministry Specification 2/44 the Brabazon was, at the time of it's construction, one of the largest aircraft ever built, being sized roughly between the much later Airbus A300 and Boeing 767 airliners. Despite its vast size, the Brabazon was designed to carry a total of only 100 passengers, each one being allocated their own spacious area about the size of the entire interior of a small car. Designed to pre-war airline standards, the 8 Centarus-powered Brabazon was probably at the practical limit for a piston prop-liner, and was deemed un-economic in the post-war climate, with no orders forthcoming. Often considered a failure, the Type 167 more than met it's design specs, was a pleasant, well mannered machine that pioneered fully powered flight controls, gust alleviation systems, electric engine controls, high-pressure hydraulics and advanced construction techniques. 60% of the program cost went into capital improvements at Filton and elsewhere that served the British industry well in the jet-age. The final verdict must be that the aircraft was a completely successful prototype showing what to do, and what not to do. FSX native update of the JBK Brabazon, which features a full interior, a very nice front office you could park a Rolls-Royce in, tight modelling, smooth flight model, a great autopilot and slippery frame rates. FS2002/2004 OV-10 Bronco NASA Textures only + Paintkit. Here are the textures for the NASA Research airplane that's based at Langley AFB, Va. This is not a fictional repaint, but one taken from photos of the actual aircraft. Because of texture mapping constraints, the spinners and the metal framework around the canopy cannot be painted. The Fokker FVII was, in its various versions, the most successful European airliner of the decade between 1925 and 1935, and had also considerable success in the USA. The three-engined Fokker FVIIa/3m appeared soon after the first Fokker trimotor was, in fact, the second FVIIa built. The FVIIa/3m was mainly sold in America after winning the Ford Reliability Tour of 1925. The Fokker F.XII trimotor was much larger than the well-known FVIIb/3m. KLM had 8, and the associated company KNILM 2, two F.XII's. This mega pack features three different Fokker models and six very detailed liveries deigned by Jens B, Kristensen. However, all the panels have been remodeled and enhanced and the FDE has been modified to function properly in FSX Acceleration. Thanks to Jens B. Kristensen for his original models, to Mauele Villa and Maarten Brouwer for some of the repaints and to Erwin Welker for the added camera views. FSX Dornier Do-217M bomber in a night attack paint scheme. The CFS2 model is made by Ted Kaniuka. The FSX-converted model provides a new wide angle view panel, a simple but functional VC, six external and four internal cameras including swivelable guns plus weapon and flak cloud effects. FSX-conversion, panel and configuration by Erwin Welker.

The Boeing B-9 was the first all metal bomber produced for the USAAC. It could outrun the fighters of that time frame. This is a native FSX project. It has DXT5.dds textures with specular shine. The VC has animated controls and the gauges are back lighted. The livery is for it's assignment to Wright Field.

FSX KLM Douglas DC-6 Textures only. Having been an operator of the Douglas DC-2, DC-3, DC-4 and DC-5, it seemed only logical that KLM (celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2009) purchased the DC-6 for its long-haul routes. Seemed, because KLM already operated the Lockheed L-049 Constellation, the DC-6's competitor. Nevertheless, Connie and DC-6 marched on together quite well. Enclosed in this package are five repaints of DC-6's during several stages in their life with KLM. The 1957 livery of PH-DPP was an interim-livery (see the 'old fashioned' white lettering and the early-fifties style cowlings). The 1962 livery of PJ-DPI seems to have been an attempt to fit into the new house style of KLM without having to respray the fuselage, as the DC-6 reached the end of its KLM carreer anyway.
