FS2004 Boeing 797 VARIG. There are as yet no official plans for any Boeing 787 or 797. Up until a couple years ago, most people believed Boeing's next major project might be a follow-on to the 747 to compete with Airbus's super-jumbo A380. While Boeing pushed developing an upgraded 747 model, most airlines indicated that they would prefer an entirely new design instead. The only publicly released concept I've come across for this potential new-build aircraft is shown below. Boeing's internal designation for this design study was the 763-246C. If it had gone into production, it would likely have been rechristened the 787 to conform to the standard Boeing naming convention. Model & textures by J R Lucariny. 2.1MB

FSX KLM Douglas DC-6 Textures only. Having been an operator of the Douglas DC-2, DC-3, DC-4 and DC-5, it seemed only logical that KLM (celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2009) purchased the DC-6 for its long-haul routes. Seemed, because KLM already operated the Lockheed L-049 Constellation, the DC-6's competitor. Nevertheless, Connie and DC-6 marched on together quite well. Enclosed in this package are five repaints of DC-6's during several stages in their life with KLM. The 1957 livery of PH-DPP was an interim-livery (see the 'old fashioned' white lettering and the early-fifties style cowlings). The 1962 livery of PJ-DPI seems to have been an attempt to fit into the new house style of KLM without having to respray the fuselage, as the DC-6 reached the end of its KLM carreer anyway. This is the first pack, of a Vietnam War 1968 project. This pack contains Cam Ranh Bay AFB, Pleiku AFB, Dak To 2 airfield and a fictive challenging airstrip, and few objects. The Sikorsky VS-44 NC41881 (c/n 4403) 'Excambian' was the second of three VS-44s produced by Sikorsky. Construction of the three planes occurred from 1940 to 1942. The VS-44 was the last fixed-wing plane built by Sikorsky. It held the speed record for crossing the Atlantic by flying boats, in both directions. This FSX package is a compilation of all the four great VS-44s George Diemer designed and built for FS2004. The VS-44 will work in both FS2004 and FSX, as all the gauges George Diemer used are compatible in both FSX and FS2004. There are four textures and two different models with slightly different VC and 2D panels, all of them reworked and enhanced. In addition, smoke effect has been added to the aircraft as well.
