these re-paints were comisioned by the FSX Blue Angels demonstration team and require the payware Iris Phantom II - FG1 RN (Royal Navy) they may work on the RAF models but will not look correct -- tested in FSXA / DX9 * for FSX by Bruce Fitzgerald -

Majestic class angle deck CVL`s HMAS Melbourne and HMCS Bonaventure. Reworked, more poly grinding and smashing, tightened up the mesh. Roughly to Bonnie's fit, now full hull. Armament shipped-3"50cal twin mounts, new mirror landing sights. Animated surface and air search radar, new ships crane and boats. Separate Bonaventure and Melbourne models to accommodate slightly different arresting wire layouts. Fully texture mapped around Jens Ole's great Bonnie and Melbourne tex's, with reduced drawcalls. Bonaventure in correct RCN colours. This edition replaces the beta version, the deck park's are unchanged, as are effects for effects version, position and titles are unchanged. A lot less pukeworthy than the earlier effort. Paints by Jens-Ole Kjolberg and Y.T.

FSX Henschel HS P75 concept fighter with canards. That german design from the year 1941 was to be a possible successor to the Messerschmitt Bf 110 heavy fighter and used at the beginning the same engines as the He-177 bomber. Later the unreliable engines war replaced with a 3000hp Daimler Benz DB610. The aircraft can exceed 420 mph in level flight using it's counter rotating pusher props. The FS2002-model from Steve Robinson comes with with sound and 3 liveries, including one air brushed air racer. I converted the model to FSX and replaced his modern gauges in the VC with FSX-compatibe, mostly typical german WWII-gauges and created three 2D-panels matching the three paint schemes. Weapon effects are included. Panel bitmaps and configuration by Erwin Welker.

"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. Delayed by no less than 3 engine changes and shifting priorities, the Wyvern was a troubled aeroplane, though it had massive potental, and was described as having "just missed being great" What if... Flashback, 1939. What if some one with more vision and less professional jealousy was in charge of gas turbine development at the Air Ministry? Flashback 1944. With the Python and Clyde heavy turbine propeller aero engines moving at a cracking pace, the troublesome Eagle sleeve valve piston engine is discarded, and turbine power specified from the outset for the N.11\44 strike fighter. An extensive flight test program with the Firebrand test bed resultes in fitting a Dowty inertia controller, eliminating the Pythons surging problems. FS2004 Himalayan Peaks LOD10 Mesh - Karakoram Highly detailed mesh based on Shuttle Radar (SRTM) data but with many of the void areas filled with elevation data generated from topographic maps by Jonathan de Ferranti.
