FSX/Prepar3D Scenery - Merida-SVMD (Sloped Runway) SVMD is an airport located 3 km southwest of downtown Merida, Venezuela, at an elevation of 1,526 m MSL. Its runway is 1,630 m long. The runway has a gradient slope of +/- 4.05 %, for that reason, this airport is the most difficult and dangerous to land in Venezuela. It is situated in a valley in the Andean mountains, surrounded by higher terrain in all quadrants. Night operations are prohibited Runway 07 is used for landings only and Rwy 25 is used only for take off. Photo-terrain area improved with Autogen files. This mega package is an FSX update for the FS2002/2004 twin-engine-prop amphibious Sikorsky S-38 by George Diemer. It features all the textures, which are available on the internet and which could be made usable in FSX. The package features 3 entirely reworked and enhanced VCs for the different models as well as a matching 2D panel. The US Army model and the Carnauba were both originally FS2002 models and totally uncompatible with FSX, hence, quite a few of their texture bitmaps nad to be newly designed from scratch to be compatible with the newer models. In addition, the packge features new smoke effect and cabin camera views. Be sure not to confuse this model with the latest update of the Sikorsky S-39, which is a single-engine-prop and was falsely titled "S-38". FS2004 Project Airbus A320-232 United Airlines NC, registration N420UA. United Airlines has long been my favorite airline and the A320 one of my favorite fly-by-wire commercial aircraft. So it goes then without saying that it gives me great pride to present this Project Airbus A320-232, registration N420UA, in United Airlines new colors. This is one of UAL's first A320's and was the 2nd in the A320 fleet to be painted in the New Colors livery you see here. It was delivered to United from Airbus in July of 1994. This aircraft was a joy to paint thanks to the paintkit from Project Airbus. I paid attention to detail and realism as much as possible; I hope I did not fail any of you. FS2004/FSX Curtiss Hawk 75N The Curtiss P-36 Hawk, also known as the Curtiss Hawk Model 75, was an American designed and built fighter aircraft of the 1930s and 40s. A contemporary of the much superior Hawker Hurricane and Messerschmitt Bf 109, it was one of the first of a new generation of combat aircraft, a sleek monoplane design making extensive use of metal in its construction and powered by a powerful radial engine.
