Photoreal Hawaiian Airports Part 3 (Category: FSX > Scenery)
82.53Mb (2168 downloads)
Hawaiian Airports Part 3 This scenery features the airports at Princeville, Port Allen, Waimea and Upolu. HI01-Princeville and PAK-Port Allen are located on the island of Kauai, the film location made famous by Stephen Spielberg's blockbuster, Jurrasic Park. PHMU-Waimea and PHUP-Upolu are located in the North West of Hawaii, also known as the Big Island. All runways, aprons, taxiways and buildings have been repositioned to their correct locations, and the scenery has been recreated based on photos of the real airports. The scenery features many animated objects including people, aircraft, animals, waves, cars, trucks and many more. Full night textures with light maps are included. All the scenery files have been sub-divided so they can be switched on or off according to user preference and hardware configuration. It has been designed for, and tested in DX9 and FSXA only. The airports include sloped flattens so they can also be used with high density mesh. This file also includes updates for Hawaiian Airports Part 2. George Keogh

Aeroworks ARX-5R Coyote Refit (Category: FSX > Props)

The ARX-5R (Concept 5) is a custom built single-seat unlimited category aerobatic aircraft based on the V8-powered ARX-5X (ARX5v21_jt-1.zip). The R Model was made specifically for Austin Gardner's Firestorm Airshows, one of the longest running online solo demo's. Like it's ARX-5 stablemates, the R model can easily handle compulsory competition maneuvers as well as more advanced gyroscopic maneuvers such as lomcovaks and tumbles. The ARX-5R has wings, tail, and gear struts from the ARX-5T Turbo Coyote, and is thus slightly faster than the original Model X. It is therefore the fastest piston-driven ARX-5 available. This FSX native model contains animations, reflections, environment mapping, spec mapping and a full dynamic virutal cockpit. Although it is not a real aircraft it does have several real-world components such as the Chelton Flight Systems EAU(engine airdata unit) display, and a Hartzell "scimitar" swept blade propeller. Includes 1 model and 2 similar schemes with a custom smoke system and pyrotechnic effects for night airshows. Aircraft, effects, and panel by Jason L. Terry. The ARX-1 is a single seat sailplane concept in both unpowered (A model) and powered versions (B model). Both glider models make use of the variometer to detect thermals for soaring in FSX. The Concept 1 was our first concept plane, released in 2000 for FS7. The ARX-1 was originally designed after RC gliders, with basic technology from the default FS2000 Schweizer. So it does not have negative flaps, water ballast, or retractable gear. As our first Concept, it is purposely built to be incredibly simple, reliable, docile, and mildy aerobatic and features a forward fuselage and cockpit section identical to it's much smaller and faster cousin, the ARX-6 Formula One pylon air racer. This package includes 11 aircraft in 2 different models with 12 schemes. By Jason L. Terry and Brady Duros.
