This updates Sonoma County Airport for FSX. Taxiways, runways, and other aspects were updated using real satellite images from Google Earth for accuracy. This airport is home to some CDF Fire Tankers, and the taxiways leading up to their facility have been accuratly depicted in this release. Default objects from the FSX scenery libraries were used. The different Hurricanes contained in this offering is possible the best freeware ones that are avaiable to the 'simming-community'. It was however not avaiable in an all-inclusive package as many downloads from other sites was required if one would want to compile a noteworthy package. This is exactly what I went and did, and more: 1. The aircraft.cfg file was tweaked. 2. Some textures were improved/corrected. 3. Two brand new Night Fighter textures were added that was created by me. 4. The previously textureless issues that showed up on these models due to the incorrect mapping or lack of textures for the cannon-armed Hurricanes was also fixed, now all of these are case-specific to each of the related Hurricanes as these are now colour-coded for the respective aircraft concerned.

Converted CFS2 Mitsubishi A6M2 Reisen (Zero/Zeke) for FSX with four 1945 CAPTURED textures: RAF, USAF, TAIC and ATAIU-SEA, and a 1942 SHOKAKU paint. Nice 2D-panel with full working gauges (all included) and a Japanese minipanel, plus 5 extra shift-F panels. Also a nice updated VC with full working gauges. Ctrl-W make the wingtips fold, shift-C/V opens/closes the cowlflaps, shift-H lowers tailhook and L-key gives gun-effects for fun. Enjoy!

FS2004 Khe Sanh Combat Base, Vietnam. The site of one of the most famous battles of the Vietnam War. Khe Sanh was originally an obscure Army Special Forces camp perched atop a small plateau in the extreme northwestern corner of South Vietnam near the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Later, 6,000 US Marines of the 13th and 26th regiments, and the 37th ARVN Ranger Batallion were deployed there. In early 1968, Khe Sanh suddenly emerged from obscurity and became front page news all over the world when it was besieged for 75 days by a force of approximately 40,000 North Vietnamese troops. The application of massive US airpower, including B-52 strikes, eventually forced the enemy to withdraw. The model represents Khe Sanh as it was in late 1967, just prior to the start of the siege. (During the siege, virtually everything above ground, including the runway, was destroyed by intense artillery, rocket, and mortar fire. At that time, the base looked more like a prairie dog town or the cratered surface of the moon.) This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles. 824K
