McDonnell-Douglas MD-8X Pratt & Whitney JT8D-217 Soundpack for FS9/FSX
(Category: FS Sounds > Flight Simulator Sounds)
46.42Mb (2140 downloads)
This sound is intended for use on Eric Cantu's models only! They will not work properly on any other model (I will be making updates to make the sounds work on other models eventually). I am proud to present to you the most realistic and detailed MD-8X Pratt & Whitney JT8D-217 turbofan soundpack for FS2004, that was ever made! I have put ALOT of time and effort into this work, and it is perhaps my most detailed and realistic sounding soundset to date! It features all the usual features that come with my sounds, such as the realistic engine spool up, and other stuff...
There are 3 versions included in this package:
- (Default) Rear Passenger Cabin Perspective
- Cockpit Perspective
- Cockpit Perspective (for Lonny Payne's Flightdeck: MD-80 Panel only)
There are instructions provided in the sound folder on how to switch the sound.cfgs to the version you want.
I am sure that if you are a frequent MD-80 Flyer, or if you're a pilot or flight crew onboard an MD-80 aircraft that you'll pretty impressed by these sounds. But if you don't like these sounds, just simply delete the file and try another soundpack. But you should try this one first, it's absolutely worth it! I doubt anyone will be deleting these sounds after hearing them... ;)

Native FSX APLHA Vulcan B2 revised package (fixed)
(Category: FSX > Military)
118.75Mb (2139 downloads)
Revised Native FSX APLHA Vulcan B2 package.
Revised, fixed and re-uploaded.
FSX converted model with 'original' VC done by Cirrus N210MS at SOH (simouthouse).
Releases of this aircraft up till this date did lack some vital implementations like radios and proper flaps implementation, as well as electrical busses, so I made
a new revised aircraft.cfg to resolve these missing features.
Also I did implement a better ground steering, extra lights, and smoke effects.
VC is populated with all XML gauges.
Auto Pilot in VC, Radar popup, and throttle panel for engines starting are available.
All modifications have been tested in Prepar3D v4.
This is the complete aircraft including sounds and effect files. Hope you like it as I do.
See for more info and credits list the 'Docs' folder of the aircraft, especially the pdf file ALPHA_Vulcan_mod.pdf

Panel Patch for the FSX Avro Vulcan
(Category: FSX > Military)
0.48Mb (2139 downloads)
This is a panel patch for the FSX Avro Vulcan update by Michael Pook. Some simmers have encountered FS crashes when trying to load the plane, evidently caused by the "Up and Down" gauge in the 2D panel. This gauge has been removed and instead the view out of the 2D panel has been modified, so it is not needed anymore. In addition, a pop-up window with standard radios as well as light switches have been added to both the VC and the 2D panel. Panel update by Michael Pook.

FSX Aeroworks ARX-1A/B xStream version 2
(Category: FSX > Props)
14.37Mb (2139 downloads)
The ARX-1 is a single seat sailplane concept in both unpowered (A model) and powered versions (B model). Both glider models make use of the variometer to detect thermals for soaring in FSX. The Concept 1 was our first concept plane, released in 2000 for FS7. The ARX-1 was originally designed after RC gliders, with basic technology from the default FS2000 Schweizer. So it does not have negative flaps, water ballast, or retractable gear. As our first Concept, it is purposely built to be incredibly simple, reliable, docile, and mildy aerobatic and features a forward fuselage and cockpit section identical to it's much smaller and faster cousin, the ARX-6 Formula One pylon air racer. This package includes 11 aircraft in 2 different models with 12 schemes. By Jason L. Terry and Brady Duros.
