FS2004 Radio Range System A bona fide Radio Range System simulating a robust navigation technique of the 1940s which lasted until the advent of the VOR. Uses Morse Code A and N audio signals to determine course. Nearly a year in development, this package includes a standalone DC-3 (based on the default) with three panels, new gauges and greatly improved flight dynamics; scenery for 118 Radio Range stations of Eastern US and SE Canada (from 1944 sectional charts) with approach plates for each; and a comprehensive instruction manual. FS2004 Dreamwings Design Dash8 Q-108 in Air Iceland/Flugfelag Islands livery, registration TF-JMB. Here's another Dash-8 especially for the Icelandic simmers out there or those who prefer the challenge of simming the skies and airports of the northernmost latitudes. This is one of two (2) Dash 8-106's flown by Air Iceland (Icelandic: Flugfelag Islands) and bears registration TF-JMB. Flugfelag Islands, a subsidiary of Icelandair Group, is a regional airline with bases at Reykjavik Airport and Akureyri Airport. It operates scheduled service to destinations in Iceland and Greenland, as well as the Faroe Islands. I want to give due credit to and thank Elmar Voigt, who inspired this project and repaint and worked with me to get every detail of it as realistic as possible. Some of those details include the text 'flugfelag.is' on the bottom of the fuselage (just like the real aircraft) and a tug painted in Air Iceland/Flugfelag Islands colors with their logo on the doors. This is a conversion of Dbolt's F4U-4C to a Korean War vintage F4U-4B of VMF-214 that operated from the USS Sicily and Pusan airfields in the early days of the Korean Conflict. The textures are by Kelticheart. The panel is the standard Corsair panel with the Korean GPS gauge added for navigation purposes. This gauge has a power switch and tuning knob that are mousable. Korean airfields are on channels 1-40. This gauge is attached to the standard Corsair throttle panel.

This is an FSX update for the FS2004 Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing by the Simtech Team including the wheels and the float version. As the original FS2004 version displayed major graphic issues in FSX and the float version wasn't flyable at all due to incompatible contact points I've decided to make this wonderful aircraft available for FSX users also. The package also includes both a reworked VC and a new 2D panel with animated yokes and new gauges for the most part. Exhaust smoke included as well. Thanks to Simtech for the original model and for the FS2002 2D panel design by Mariano Pedro Bernacki, which perfectly matches the VC. All graphic and panel updates as well as smoke configuration by Michael Pook. The model may work in P3D,version3 also.
