FSX/Acceleration/FS2004 package cruise ship MS Artania as pilotable version and ai-version. The first name in 1984 of that beautiful ship was Royal Princess. From 2005 till 2011 she sailed under the name Artemis. Now she sails modernisized under the flag of Bahamas and the German shipping company PHOENIX-Reisen. The ship has a length of 220.6 m, a beam of 29.6 m and with a power of 23.200 kw a speed of max 22 knots. She has a crew of about 500 and takes up to 1100 passengers. I made a wonderful cruise from Bremerhaven/Germany to the fjords of Norway in May 2017. Doing 100 extra photographs, including all panels of the nav-bridge, just for the textures of this model I was able to create the most photorealistic boat with the most detailed VC nav-bridge I have ever buildt. FS2004 or 2002 scenery - Arecibo Observatory & surrounding hills, currently operated by the Cornel University, is a big object in the Arecibo area, in Puerto Rico, and can be seen from quite a distance. It is close to the Arecibo airport, ICAO designation ABO (ARE in FS2002). The observatory is used for radio-astronomy, and the spheric dish is 304 metres in diameter. ("Spheric" as opposed to "parbolic"). The "receiver-transmitter" is in a gondola suspended over the dish by three sets of cables, which are suspended from three towers. The Microsoft FS2004 site has testimonials claiming the existence of the observatory, but it only exists in FS2000, where it is quite poorly done. Author: Fern Marques. 111K

FSX Taylor J-2 Cub. The Taylor J-2 Cub was the predecessor of the famous Piper J-3 Cub. It was equipped with a 37hp Continental A-40 engine. I made this plane by using the default Piper Cub, changing the texture (i saw this neonyellow texture on a real Cub once) and changing the engine/weight/fuel attributes. The plane is slower than the Piper Cub and should be a challenge to fly in bad weather (just like the default Cub). I also changed the pilots face a bit (younger), gave it a correctly coloured 2D panel and as the plane has less power than the cub i made it a tiny bit less agile. Beware, the plane is nose-heavy, you have to trim it accordingly. Oh and i gave the window reflections in the 3D cockpit the right colour, too. FSX/FS2004 P47 D Thunderbolt Never beautiful like the Spitfire, not as agile as the Bf 109, nor as long-legged as the P-51 Mustang, the big Republic P-47 Thunderbolt nevertheless was one of the most successful and best-loved fighters of all time. The 'Jug', named for its bulky shape, was a monster of a machine, yet it was fast and manoeuvrable. The pilot had enormous power at his fingertips and knew that if his aircraft was hit by gunfire, he had an excellent chance of getting home safely. Updated FS 2002 Flight Assistant (12/02) is a program for flight enthusiasts that provides a virtual co-pilot. You can give commands using a microphone which the co-pilot executes then. For example, one could give the command "flaps up", and then the flaps will be raised automatically. Furthermore, the co-pilot responds to your commands, so that you receive a confirmation. The program is nearly fully configurable. You are able to create new commands and even to edit the existing ones. An optional "power" key lets the PC only recognize commands when you press and hold down a certain key. New in version 1.2: Enhanced error handling, an extended readme, some major bug fixes and an improved key press emulation.
