Fightin' Lobos Vipers. This package contains "tail textures only" to represent the 114th Fighter Wing (FW), 175th Fighter Squadron (FS), F-16D viper and F-16C viper of the South Dakota Air National Guard (ANG). The Fightin' Lobos jets include the blue tails, which were common up until 2003, and may be flown out of Joe Foss Field or any airport. The excellent "C" model viper by Kirk Olsson usviper.zip may be obtained here(see link) The excellent "D" model viper by Kirk Olsson viper2us.zip may be obtained here (see link).

FSX Gipps Aero GA-8 Airvan Package

This is the second version of FSX port-over of Brian Gladden's GA8 Airvan, initially designed for FS9. With permission of the original model designer there were made some improvements of exterior and interior texture, vitual cockpit, aircraft configuration, flight dynamics and sound files. The FSX aircraft is operated from VC only, but has several auxilary pop-up panels to expand control capabilities (mini-panel for external view flight; display, providing detailed engine operations features; pedestal panel with engine, pitch trim, wing flaps and parking break controls).
The FSX GyppsAero Airvan package represents two plane options - GA-8 with Lycoming IO-540A1K1 engine and turbocharged GA-8 TC-320 with Lycoming TIO-540-AH1A. Unfortunately, due to the original model limitations the second option exterior is not authentic visually, as the turbocharged plane has a 3-blade propeller. Meanwhile MP/FP and RPM gauges for both engine options looks properly.

Orbital version in 4 versions, Heavy Titan IIIC, LEO Titan III, sub-orbital Titan III/Centaur, and orbital with OMS. Model also has a animated drag chute added on all versions. Includes some AIcarriers2 toys, a Titan instant launch complex so you are not tied to Canaveral or Vandenberg, a 'Blue Nerva' military spacecraft orbital 'mothership'. See readme file.

Never beautiful like the Spitfire, not as agile as the Bf 109, nor as long-legged as the P-51 Mustang, the big Republic P-47 Thunderbolt nevertheless was one of the most successful and best-loved fighters of all time. The 'Jug', named for its bulky shape, was a monster of a machine, yet it was fast and manoeuvrable. The pilot had enormous power at his fingertips and knew that if his aircraft was hit by gunfire, he had an excellent chance of getting home safely.
