Fightin' Lobos Vipers. This package contains "tail textures only" to represent the 114th Fighter Wing (FW), 175th Fighter Squadron (FS), F-16D viper and F-16C viper of the South Dakota Air National Guard (ANG). The Fightin' Lobos jets include the blue tails, which were common up until 2003, and may be flown out of Joe Foss Field or any airport. FSX F-84 Thunderjet
The F-84 Thunderjet was one of the most important western fighters of the 1950's. It was produced in very large numbers, had a distinguished carreer with the USAF in Korea as a fighter-bomber, and was for a number of years the main equipment of many NATO air forces. Pilots nicknamed the Thunderjet "The Lead Sled". It was also called "The Iron Crowbar", "a hole sucking air", "The Hog" ("The Groundhog"), and "The World's Fastest Tricycle", as a testament to its long takeoff rolls. FSX/FS2004. It was a simple, robust, generous trailing edge flaps for short shots, low pressure tires, strong legs in their landing gear unit. With an extensive cargo hold with a fuselage banked up, allowing truck access directly onto the plane without splitting the central cell.
The Spanish Air Force acquired thirty of these devices in several batches. He was assigned to Ala 37, Albacete based first and later in Villanubla and Ala 35 of Getafe, making numerous missions.

This version of the NASA SRTM DEM data, processed by the people at CGIAR-CSI, Kings College, London - is a considerable improvement on previous versions.
It is considered to be the highest quality SRTM 90m dataset available.
So I thought it would be a good idea to process it, so you FSX users out there could use it.

The different Hurricanes contained in this offering is possible the best freeware ones that are avaiable to the 'simming-community'. It was however not avaiable in an all-inclusive package as many downloads from other sites was required if one would want to compile a noteworthy package.
This is exactly what I went and did, and more:
1. The aircraft.cfg file was tweaked.
2. Some textures were improved/corrected.
3. Two brand new Night Fighter textures were added that was created by me.
4. The previously textureless issues that showed up on these models due to the incorrect mapping or lack of textures for the cannon-armed Hurricanes was also fixed, now all of these are case-specific to each of the related Hurricanes as these are now colour-coded for the respective aircraft concerned.

Never beautiful like the Spitfire, not as agile as the Bf 109, nor as long-legged as the P-51 Mustang, the big Republic P-47 Thunderbolt nevertheless was one of the most successful and best-loved fighters of all time. The 'Jug', named for its bulky shape, was a monster of a machine, yet it was fast and manoeuvrable. The pilot had enormous power at his fingertips and knew that if his aircraft was hit by gunfire, he had an excellent chance of getting home safely.
