Beriev BE-12 Update.
This is an update of the Beriev BE-12 by Vladimir Zhyhulskiy
(here). I
have updated the flight dynamics, corrected the contact points
where necessary and added two float points, changed the throttle
quadrant to a toggle window as it was not all visible, and changed
the engines from jets to turbo-props. Bob Chicilo. 261K

Douglas DC-3 Santair Few
people realize that Santa Monica Airport, where the venerable
Douglas DC-3 first flew on 17th December 1935, was named after
Santa Klaus and his wife Monica. The Man In Red was quick
to spot the benefits of undertaking his yearly mission in
a mode of transportation ideally suited to the task, and was
one of Douglas' first customers. "Hallmark Cards and Thomas
Kincade can keep their reindeer and chimneys", he declared.
"I'm going with Pratt and Whitney. Fuel me up, elf". And so
it is today. 70 years later, if you look up into the sky on
Christmas Eve ... there's every chance you'll get hit in the
eye by a plummeting box, should any of Monica's hand-sewn
parachutes fail to open. Based on the default DC-3, with parachute
present delivery effect adapted from the work of Pierino Primavesi.
Also features Christmas lights on the cabin top. Merry Christmas
to all! By Mark Beaumont. 3MB

Douglas DC-3 Santair FIX
If, in the spirit of the holiday season and to delight your
offspring, you downloaded Rudolph The Red-nosed DC-3 (DC3SANTA.ZIP),
you may have noticed that no presents are seen to fall from
the aircraft as were promised. You have, no doubt, been concerned
as to whether you were good enough this year to merit any,
haven't you? However, rest at ease. The lack of gifts is all
down to a major stuff-up by Santa's Chief Elf, yours truly,
who uploaded old working files in error rather than the finished
packages. So here are sackfuls of presents to remedy things.
Please apologise to your children and, once again, Merry Christmas!

Tinmouse II Boeing 737-275 Pan Am's First B737-200 (N380PA)
Textures only.
. Pan Am is one of the airlines that evokes so much nostalgia
in many people. It is an icon to the early days of commercial
aviation when flying was romanticized and going on a flight
was something people dressed their best for. So I couldn't resist
bringing back this classic airline using the TinMouse II B732
model. This aircraft, a 737-275 wearing registration N380PA,
was the first 737-200 for Pan Am. It is presented here for your
flying pleasure just as this aircraft appeared when it was delivered
to Pan Am from Boeing on May 27, 1982. I paid attention to detail
and realism as much as possible with sharply painted details.
The textures in this repaint are 32-bit. This is a "textures
only" package; you must have the Tinmouse 737-200adv base package
and all patches installed (available here).
Repaint by Jeffrey S. Bryner. Model by the TinMouse II project.

FSX F-84 Thunderjet
The F-84 Thunderjet was one of the most important western fighters of the 1950's. It was produced in very large numbers, had a distinguished carreer with the USAF in Korea as a fighter-bomber, and was for a number of years the main equipment of many NATO air forces. Pilots nicknamed the Thunderjet "The Lead Sled". It was also called "The Iron Crowbar", "a hole sucking air", "The Hog" ("The Groundhog"), and "The World's Fastest Tricycle", as a testament to its long takeoff rolls. Model by J Kristensen, textures by different authors, upgrade to FSX by A.F.Scrub.
