Douglas DC-3 Santair Few
people realize that Santa Monica Airport, where the venerable
Douglas DC-3 first flew on 17th December 1935, was named after
Santa Klaus and his wife Monica. The Man In Red was quick
to spot the benefits of undertaking his yearly mission in
a mode of transportation ideally suited to the task, and was
one of Douglas' first customers. "Hallmark Cards and Thomas
Kincade can keep their reindeer and chimneys", he declared.
"I'm going with Pratt and Whitney. Fuel me up, elf". And so
it is today. 70 years later, if you look up into the sky on
Christmas Eve ... there's every chance you'll get hit in the
eye by a plummeting box, should any of Monica's hand-sewn
parachutes fail to open. Based on the default DC-3, with parachute
present delivery effect adapted from the work of Pierino Primavesi.
Also features Christmas lights on the cabin top. Merry Christmas
to all! By Mark Beaumont. 3MB

Douglas DC-3 Santair FIX
If, in the spirit of the holiday season and to delight your
offspring, you downloaded Rudolph The Red-nosed DC-3 (DC3SANTA.ZIP),
you may have noticed that no presents are seen to fall from
the aircraft as were promised. You have, no doubt, been concerned
as to whether you were good enough this year to merit any,
haven't you? However, rest at ease. The lack of gifts is all
down to a major stuff-up by Santa's Chief Elf, yours truly,
who uploaded old working files in error rather than the finished
packages. So here are sackfuls of presents to remedy things.
Please apologise to your children and, once again, Merry Christmas!

Pilatus PC7 Turbo Trainer. Version 1.0.
This model has been fully constructed with FSDS v2.11 and it
uses many common parts from my Pilatus PC9 Project. Sounds and
Panel alaised with the Default Cessna 208. The Pilatus PC7 Turbo
Trainer originally flew on April 12 1966, this initial version
was essentially a modified Pilatus P3 with a 550SHP PW&C PT6A-20
Turboprop, this initial version failed to attract any sales
until 1975 when the PC7 appeared with the PT6A-25 engine (of
650SHP) and a whole host of improvements. Since that time the
PC7 has proven to be a capable trainer, and has since been superseded
by the more capable PC9, and recently the PC-21, however the
PC7 still continues to serve well in the training role of various
air force's worldwide. Model,Textures and Flight dynamics By
