FS2004 Project Airbus A320-214 Air Jamaica, registration 6Y-JMK "Spirit of Mandeville" with Lighting Effects and Updated FDE. I am proud to present this Project Airbus A320-214, registration 6Y-JMK, in the colorful Air Jamaica livery. Air Jamaica was founded in late 1968 and started operations in April of 1969. Throughout its existence it had enjoyed expansive growth through the 1990's during which time the Jamaican government reduced their ownership share in the company to 25% in an effort to privatize it. However, in 2004 Air Jamaica suffered significant financial losses, so the government interceded to take back 100% ownership of the company. Air Jamaica has argueably one of the brightest, colorful liverys of any airline flying. It had not been that way until the 1990's when Air Jamaica repainted its fleet in this livery. This airframe, registration 6Y-JMK, was delivered to Air Jamaica in July of 2003 and is the newest A320 in thier fleet of 9. She bears the name "Spirit of Mandeville" aft of the flag of Jamaica below the side windscreen. This aircraft is a frequent visitor to KBOS, KBWI, KFLL, KMIA, and several other aiports in the USA. I paid attention to detail and realism as much as possible. Most repainted textures are 32-bit with no mipmaps (wings are DXT3). Repaint by Jeffrey S. The Ilyushin Il-86 is a short/medium-range wide-body jet airliner and was the USSR's first wide-body and the world's second four-engined wide-body. FSX Native model developed by Kirill Konovalov comes with 2 FSX native models, 12 liveries and a dedicated custom soundset. Due to the fact that the main gauges for the aircraft are 32-bit non-XML gauges they do not function in Prepar3D v4 and onwards. So I replaced the gauges by XML versions wherever possible, incorporated a fully functional 2D panel, and created popup windows for various functions (like an Auto Pilot panel). This resulted in a good flyable aircraft package, although not all the gauges could be replaced in the VC. Also I added documentation, Reference and Check-lists htm files and some other goodies (GPWS, GroundHandling, CockpitSounds). FSX/P3D Convair Model 7002 XF-92A by Milton Shupe, Rick Mackintosh, Brian Alexson, Scott Thomas, Hans-Joerg Naegele, Jan Rosenberg, Nigel Richards, Pilot Figure by Jan Visser, and Tire textures by Mike Kelly. The Convair model 7002 or (P-92), a delta winged turbojet airplane, better known as the XF-92A, was the first in a long line of American Delta Winged Aircraft. The XF-92A was a single seat, jet propelled research fighter-type land plane. Characterized by a 60º delta wing and a large vertical tail, the wing planform of the XF-92A was an equilateral triangle with a span of 31’4”. With no separate horizontal tail surfaces, the elevons (combined elevator/aileron) provided the pitch and roll control for the aircraft. The authors of this package honors that development and testing that propelled the advancement of the delta wing concepts and use. IMPORTANT NOTES: Your Sim's Realism settings must be set to at least Medium for this product to work. XML TOOLS must be installed to get full benefits of "G" and AoA effects. Bristol Beaufighter Mk I ; for CFS2 only The paint scheme is of a Beaufighter Mk I F, Night-fighter of 604 (County of Middlesex) Sqdn, Middle Wallop. 1941. The aircraft enclosed in this file is one of the three Beaufighter variants which I have released, these being - Mk I, Mk 21, and TF. Mk X (To follow shortly1) . Each of these zip files contains a complete separate aircraft with 3D details particular to that variant, an accurate historic paint scheme and an appropriate pilot texture. Air files are generic but the different variants do have DP files to match their historic armament and payloads. They all feature; Multi-resolution models, highly detailed exteriors, full moving gear, props, crew members and control surfaces, lights, 3D virtual cockpit with moving yoke, detailed interiors with night lighting and functional bomb, torpedo or rocket payloads. The 3D pilot figure is freeware by David Eckert. The Airfile is by Gryphon Aviation. The panel and sounds are CFS2 default ones. However a detailed freeware Beaufighter panel has been designed by Gryphon Aviation and is available at http://gryphon.users3.50megs.com/index.html . Further Skins for these aircraft are found below, including U.S nightfighter, RAF desert, and RAAF Pacific schemes NB I have not spent a lot time on the aircraft and air files, the visual model and effects having been my priority, so I cannot guarantee any accuracy of flight model, though Gryphon seem to have done a good job.
