These are the Project Opensky/Skyspirit FSX native Boeing 747-8i GenX and Boeing 747-400 GE models, and includes ground cargo servicing, stairs (FSX - Go to Views - Instrument Panel -Posky Utility) and more. FSX/P3D Convair Model 7002 XF-92A by Milton Shupe, Rick Mackintosh, Brian Alexson, Scott Thomas, Hans-Joerg Naegele, Jan Rosenberg, Nigel Richards, Pilot Figure by Jan Visser, and Tire textures by Mike Kelly. The Convair model 7002 or (P-92), a delta winged turbojet airplane, better known as the XF-92A, was the first in a long line of American Delta Winged Aircraft. The XF-92A was a single seat, jet propelled research fighter-type land plane. Characterized by a 60º delta wing and a large vertical tail, the wing planform of the XF-92A was an equilateral triangle with a span of 31’4”. With no separate horizontal tail surfaces, the elevons (combined elevator/aileron) provided the pitch and roll control for the aircraft. The authors of this package honors that development and testing that propelled the advancement of the delta wing concepts and use. IMPORTANT NOTES: Your Sim's Realism settings must be set to at least Medium for this product to work. XML TOOLS must be installed to get full benefits of "G" and AoA effects. "imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. FS2004 Scenery Enhancements and Terrain Mesh of Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska Add-on meshes can greatly improve the detail of the FS terrain but often conflict with the inaccurate placement of the other default FS landscape elements, particularly in coastal and mountainous areas. This project showcases new methods and software that allow for semi-automated development of FS landscapes from accurate source data. The files completely replace the default FS landscape of Southeast Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park and the adjacent Lynn Canal area between Juneau and Skagway (N58-60 W134-138), including shorelines, islands, and lakes, as well as glaciers, landclass, man-made features, and a LOD9 (76-m) terrain mesh. Optional AI floatplane traffic at four seaplane bases is included. A LOD10 (38-m) mesh of the same area is available as a separate optional download. FS2002 users please use fs8glbay.zip instead.
