FSX service pack update
(Category: FSX > Misc)
2.85Mb (2013 downloads)
This is an update for FSX that some people
may be unaware they need. It contains an exe
file that will install a missing portion of
service pack 1 that was left out of
Acceleration. The .dll file in the other
folder may be needed for those who have FSX
crash when accessing menus; or as happened to
me, needed to be there so FSX Acceleration
did not crash early each session while
running under Windows 8.1. The SP1 update
also makes it possible to see carriers in
Acceleration that otherwise would not be able
to be seen. These files are on the internet
for anyone to download, but I don't remember
coming across an update like this to bring
people's attention to them.

Forgotten Airfields of the World..Part I
(Category: FSX > Missions)
4.63Mb (2013 downloads)
There thousands of "Forgoptten Airfields" around the world. Some were great during WW2 and much needed others went bankrupt due to very little trafic and others just faded away....Have you wanted to fly out to one of these?? or maybe more??..Well here is your chance. Not an easy one to find in Alaska, a truly forgotten one in cold Russia and one that was shut down after a doomed expediiton in Chile...It will not be a piece of cake finding them but you sure will have fun trying!!!...The kit includes everything, you put the planes and experience.....

B-26B Strafer Model
(Category: CFS2 > Aircraft)
2.49Mb (2013 downloads)
This is an early-block B model B-26 prior to the addition of the longer wings and taller tail. She is equipped with field modifications in the form of fuselage gun packs...giving her a total of 12 .50s. She is multi-LOD, comes complete with crew figures, panel, gauges and weapons. AIR file by 1%. Weapons are by Dbolt; crew by Martin Wright. The 26 is a tempermental aircraft and it takes some experience to master her flight characteristics. IMPORTANT: The use of elevator trim and flaps are critical in flying the B-26 successfully. There is a complete set of mousable trim controls on the fuel panel. Get to know your panel screens This aircraft bears the colors of "Mister Period/Tondelayo" 452nd BS, 322nd BG, Bury-St-Edmunds, UK, 1943 painted by James Peach (Sopwith Chameleon).
