Pear Harbour Arena. (Category: CFS2 > Missions & Campaigns)
4.48Mb (2020 downloads)
Pear Harbour Arena. Mission & Scenery: This Mission represents what Lt. George Welch & 2nd Lt. Kenneth Taylor Flew during the attack at Pearl Harbor. The actions of the main characters in the movie Pearl Harbor (2001), played by Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett, were clearly based on those of Welch and Taylor, but the way the memory of these two real-life heroes was obliterated for the sake of a sappy fictional romantic triangle.Welch remained in the Pacific Theater of Operations and went on to score 12 more kills against Japanese aircraft. After the war, he became the chief test pilot for North American Aviation (Makers Of the P-51 Mustang).Ken Taylor also survived the war, scored at least two more kills, and retired from the Air Force in 1970 as a Brigadier General and commander of the Alaska Air National Guard, and is still living in Alaska as of June 2001. Repaint & Mission By Grab_Alt_or_Die, Scenery By John Applegate (m4ilm4n) - and CAF Hack, A Great Scenery & Panel Creator from the CAF SQN Base included: Wheeler AAF & Ford Island NAS Robert Glen. 4.6MB

FS2004 Can Tho Army Airfield, Vietnam 1969. A model of Can Tho Army Airfield as it appeared in 1969 at the height of the Vietnam War. Can Tho was a major airbase in the Mekong Delta about 4 miles southeast of Binh Tuy AB and 3 miles northwest of the city of Cantho. It was the home of the US Army's 13th Aviation Batallion. There airport code for Can Tho Army Airfield was VVCT. That code is now assigned to Tra Noc airport. This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles. 580K

FSX Temco Pinto Jet Trainer
FSX Temco Pinto Jet Trainer
FSX Temco Pinto Jet Trainer (Category: FSX > Vintage)
18.04Mb (2019 downloads)
First flown in 1956, the Temco TT-1 Pinto was developed in an unsuccessful bid to entice the U.S. Navy to adopt a jet primary trainer. The Super Pinto, with three times the power, was developed for the Air Force requirement that led to the Cessna A-37 Dragonfly. When the ex-Navy Pintos were modified to Super standards they found their niche on the airshow circuit as high performance jet warbirds. This package, designed and developed by David Wooster, incudes a variety of several authentic liveries and a fictional one. The focus of my update lies upon both an entirely newly designed VC and 2D panel. Thanks to David Wooster for his great original model. New VC and 2D panel as well as new smoke and burner effect by Michael Pook. May also work in FS2004.
