FS2004/FSX De Havilland Chipmunk 771 NAS & HMS Seahawk Station Flight Textures only. These textures represent DHC Chipmunk WP776 of the HMS Seahawk (RNAS Culdrose) Station Flight and have been released to celebrate A) the station's 60th Anniversary (1947-2007); and B) my engagement nearby at The Lizard! In 1983 WP776 joined 771 NAS, where it remained until 1992. The inspiration for these textures was Geoff Wakeham's 2007 book "RNAS Culdrose: 1947-2007" published by Tempus and highly recommended!Requires the excellent freeware aircraft by Rick Piper. This is an early-block B model B-26 prior to the addition of the longer wings and taller tail. She is equipped with field modifications in the form of fuselage gun packs...giving her a total of 12 .50s. She is multi-LOD, comes complete with crew figures, panel, gauges and weapons. AIR file by 1%. Weapons are by Dbolt; crew by Martin Wright. The 26 is a tempermental aircraft and it takes some experience to master her flight characteristics. IMPORTANT: The use of elevator trim and flaps are critical in flying the B-26 successfully. There is a complete set of mousable trim controls on the fuel panel. Get to know your panel screens This aircraft bears the colors of "Mister Period/Tondelayo" 452nd BS, 322nd BG, Bury-St-Edmunds, UK, 1943 painted by James Peach (Sopwith Chameleon). The B is based on Bismarck13's (William Dickens) original A model source file. Special thanks to Bis for it's use. This package contains 2 sets of camera views ( defined by camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg file ) for the beautiful Boeing F/A-18A Hornet by Microsoft available only in the Acceleration expansion Pack. Version 1.1 is actually based on my original package but with more views and some slight mods to some parameters. Version 2.0 is based on version 1.1 but some of the cameras are place at a higher level. Three new views : top-down zoomable view of the aircraft. 2 VC "Over the shoulder" views. FS2004 Gauge: VTOL for Helicopters This package contains a VTOL control gauge for FS9 Helicopters, that works around some FS9 limitations and/or incorrect flightdynamics, which makes them sometimes hard to control them; especially at low airspeed and when you have your Realism sliders set above minimum. It provides: - Smooth and stable VTOL capabilities, with pilot-controlled ascent/descent rate, longitudinal and lateral speed, heading, pitch and bank. - Works also in windy conditions. - Automatic activation below 25 Knots IAS, so does not influence the aircraft's flight characteristics in normal flight. - Adds an Autohover/Autopilot function.
