FS2004 Gauge: VTOL for Helicopters This package contains a VTOL control gauge for FS9 Helicopters, that works around some FS9 limitations and/or incorrect flightdynamics, which makes them sometimes hard to control them; especially at low airspeed and when you have your Realism sliders set above minimum. It provides: - Smooth and stable VTOL capabilities, with pilot-controlled ascent/descent rate, longitudinal and lateral speed, heading, pitch and bank. - Works also in windy conditions. - Automatic activation below 25 Knots IAS, so does not influence the aircraft's flight characteristics in normal flight. - Adds an Autohover/Autopilot function. FS2002 AI Helicopters 107: "The Amphibians". Seventh in a series of files for setting up helicopters and their repaints as AI aircraft. Set-up templates for four amphibian variants of freeware choppers: Schweizer 300C, Hughes 500D, Bell 206L Long Ranger, and Bell 47 G2. Includes sample AFCAD "helicopter docks" and flight plans for Honolulu, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and Victoria. Flight behavior is approximated (!) with custom flight models. This is an update for FSX that some people may be unaware they need. It contains an exe file that will install a missing portion of service pack 1 that was left out of Acceleration. The .dll file in the other folder may be needed for those who have FSX crash when accessing menus; or as happened to me, needed to be there so FSX Acceleration did not crash early each session while running under Windows 8.1. The SP1 update also makes it possible to see carriers in Acceleration that otherwise would not be able to be seen. These files are on the internet for anyone to download, but I don't remember coming across an update like this to bring people's attention to them.

This is my tribute package for the last flight of Challenger; STS-51L. Based upon historical documentation and personal development of orbital state vectors for the expected flight events I have created the following scenarios using the available components from the "STS_Payloads" package and my previously release extension package for the Shuttle Fleet. Godspeed to Challenger and her crew; let this package be a celebration of their dream.
