LGSM Samos International Airport, Greece. The island of Samos lies in the Eastern Aegean and is a very popular tourist destination for flights from Berlin, Munich, Gatwick, Oslo, Copenhagen, Rome and many others. It is widely regarded as the most dangerous airport in Greece, mountaineous terrain requires a sharp right hand turn onto runway 09 and landings are invariably subject to strong turbulence. The airport has been designed to sit on the excellent photoreal scenery by Dimitris Ntaskas, which is available on Avsim and called 'samos_305814.zip'. It also uses many objects from my lgkf_kefallinia.zip scenery also available here. The scenery has been designed for and tested with DX9 and FSXA only, if used with the default terrain many objects will be misplaced. The scenery features a very detailed airport, repositioned according to satellite imagery and is based on real photographs. Full night lighting is included with washed lighting of the apron and carparks. The nearby town of Pythagorio has been modelled and includes some local landmarks. The North American FJ-1 Fury by sensi Kazunori Ito. The chubby Fury was a development of the P-51,and was the direct ancestor of the subsequent F-86, FJ-2, FJ-3, FJ-4, T-2J and Sabreliner aircraft. 2016 update, FSX native, MDL X materials and animations. Bump and spec maps enabled, though these are placeholders that require the attention of a talented painter-graphics guru. First delivery of a Boeing 707 to a Romanian airline took place in 1974. Several variants of 707-321B,-321C,-327C,-384C and -3K1C were operated by Romanian airlines (ROT-Tarom, LAR-Romanian Airlines, RMV-Romavia, MDJ-Jaro International and Romanian Government) until 2009 when last Romanian registred B707 left for good. FS2004 Cessna 185 Update. This file is an update to the CFG file of the Cessna 185 by J. R. LUCARINY (here). This update modifies the contact points of the main gear and tail wheel. Now the wheels are set at ground level instead of slightly underneath the ground as seen on the original aircraft. Also engine horsepower increased to 350hp and stall speed with flaps down is decreased to 45 knots. This may not sound like a realistic modification (and it isnt) but hey, its flightsim, so whatever. The plane now lifts off the ground at a more reasonable distance, just adjust the prop to 2400rpm at 500ft. no manifold pressure limit so go wide open until you run out of gas!. I use a Cessna 206 sound set but you can alias the default mooney sounds for a more realistic sound. Have fun with the Cessna 185. 184K
