The Bristol Bombay was designed to serve both as a bomber and a troop transport. It first flew in 1935. It was too obsolete to use as a bomber in Western Europe when the war broke out but served admirably in the Middle East. This is a native FSX Acceleration model. It is painted for service in the Middle East desert. The Pegasus sound file is by Gary Jones. FS2004 Binh Thuy Airfield Vietnam late 60's Scenery. A model of Binh Thuy Airfield as it appeared in the late 1960's at the height of the Vietnam War. Binh Thuy was a major airbase in the Mekong Delta about 7 miles northwest of Cantho. It was the home of the 632nd Combat Support Group. There is a modern airport (Tra Noc) at the same location in FS 2002. The airport code for Tra Noc is VVCT, whereas the code for Binh Thuy was VVBT. This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles. 521K

The reason this is called the "New Generation" SRTM Mesh is mainly because all Faults & Voids have been fully removed and as a result what you used to see as very Steep Cliffs, Valleys,etc and in many cases even what appeared to be Hills or Mountains where in fact nothing more than "Shadows" (Faults/Voids) in the original SRTM Data!! This file is part 3 of a 4 part download and contains visual models and textures depicting E2459 of 'B' Flight No. 88 Sqdn RFC/RAF, with the second long form of horizontal exhausts. This file requires the prior successful installations of parts 1 & 2 (F2BX1Pt1.zip and F2BX1Pt2.zip) The remaining download is optional. This aircraft was modeled using 3DS Max 8.0 and compiled using FSX SDK tools and will only work in FSX or higher. It is NOT compatable with FS2004. The aircraft makes full use of FSX materials and also features skinned animated crew members in the external model. It also features a detailed virtual cockpit.
