This is an update for FSX that some people may be unaware they need. It contains an exe file that will install a missing portion of service pack 1 that was left out of Acceleration. The .dll file in the other folder may be needed for those who have FSX crash when accessing menus; or as happened to me, needed to be there so FSX Acceleration did not crash early each session while running under Windows 8.1. The SP1 update also makes it possible to see carriers in Acceleration that otherwise would not be able to be seen. These files are on the internet for anyone to download, but I don't remember coming across an update like this to bring people's attention to them.

FS2004 Dash 8 Wing Views. Some wing views for the Dash 8-400 model, they display the forward engine nacelle and the props, they are only for use with the Dreamwings dash 8-400. They may not work with other models, some panels may not support these views, I will post some new views and supporting panels shortly. 540K

FS2004 Cessna 185 Update. This file is an update to the CFG file of the Cessna 185 by J. R. LUCARINY (here). This update modifies the contact points of the main gear and tail wheel. Now the wheels are set at ground level instead of slightly underneath the ground as seen on the original aircraft. Also engine horsepower increased to 350hp and stall speed with flaps down is decreased to 45 knots. This may not sound like a realistic modification (and it isnt) but hey, its flightsim, so whatever. The plane now lifts off the ground at a more reasonable distance, just adjust the prop to 2400rpm at 500ft. no manifold pressure limit so go wide open until you run out of gas!. I use a Cessna 206 sound set but you can alias the default mooney sounds for a more realistic sound. Have fun with the Cessna 185. 184K

The Convair B-58 Hustler was the first operational jet bomber capable of Mach 2 flight. The aircraft was developed for the United States Air Force for service in the Strategic Air Command (SAC) during the 1960s. It used a delta wing, which was also employed by Convair fighters such as the F-102, with four General Electric J79 engines in underwing pods. It carried five nuclear weapons; four on pylons under the wings, and one nuclear weapon and fuel in a combination bomb/fuel pod under the fuselage, rather than in an internal bomb bay. Replacing the Boeing B-47 Stratojet medium bomber, it was originally intended to fly at high altitudes and supersonic speeds to avoid Soviet fighters. The B-58 was notorious for its sonic boom, which was often heard by the public as it passed overhead in supersonic flight. The package is an FSX/P3d (V.3) update of my previous update, now including the original livery and two new Camo repaints.VC and 2D panel are now equipped with new (more authentic) gauges with GPS, radios and radar in the popup windows. Automatic smoke and afterburner added. Thanks to Massimo Altieri for the original FS2004 model and to Philippe Wallaert for some of the gauges as well as to the unknown designers of the other gauges used with this update. This package contains 2 sets of camera views ( defined by camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg file ) for the beautiful Boeing F/A-18A Hornet by Microsoft available only in the Acceleration expansion Pack. Version 1.1 is actually based on my original package but with more views and some slight mods to some parameters. Version 2.0 is based on version 1.1 but some of the cameras are place at a higher level. Three new views : top-down zoomable view of the aircraft. 2 VC "Over the shoulder" views.
