This is the second version of my previous CFS2 guns release. After it was posted, I've waited for comments and suggestions from users because nothing is perfect and it's always good to improve, since many heads are better than one. Some users kindly suggested to me to make all wave files stereo. Some original CFS2 guns were already mono so I thought beforehand it was not that important (the fifty cal. is mono in CFS2). But of course, if we have to do it, let's do it the best possible. I found it both challenging and exciting. So I did my homework and here they are !! the full stereo wave files !! Many sky textures were downloaded and mixed. *Realistic sky textures *Lots of variations. As always back up your default textures in case you decide you prefer them. (Contains default textures just in case)

"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. FS2004 Binh Thuy Airfield Vietnam late 60's Scenery. A model of Binh Thuy Airfield as it appeared in the late 1960's at the height of the Vietnam War. Binh Thuy was a major airbase in the Mekong Delta about 7 miles northwest of Cantho. It was the home of the 632nd Combat Support Group. There is a modern airport (Tra Noc) at the same location in FS 2002. The airport code for Tra Noc is VVCT, whereas the code for Binh Thuy was VVBT. This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles. 521K
