STS-51L Alternate History Scenarios

This is my tribute package for the last flight of Challenger; STS-51L. Based upon historical documentation and personal development of orbital state vectors for the expected flight events I have created the following scenarios using the available components from the "STS_Payloads" package and my previously release extension package for the Shuttle Fleet.
Godspeed to Challenger and her crew; let this package be a celebration of their dream.

The Bristol Bombay was designed to serve both as a bomber and a troop transport. It first flew in 1935. It was too obsolete to use as a bomber in Western Europe when the war broke out but served admirably in the Middle East. This is a native FSX Acceleration model. It is painted for service in the Middle East desert. The Pegasus sound file is by Gary Jones. The VC has animated flight controls, working gauges and is based on photo's of similar aircraft of the same era. By Paul Clawson

Mig-21F Fishbed update

This is an update for FSX/FS9 of the Mig-21F
Fishbed by Ricardo Batalha. I have updated
the flight dynamics, given it a 2D panel,
changed the afterburners and smoke effects,
changed the position of the beacon and strobe
lights, and reduced the fuel so it is not
overweight. I changed the VC hud, but the
rest of the VC was not good enough to try and
fix better. This is the whole aircraft.

This is a remake of an FS 98 Control Panel for FS2002 Pro. Some
new features have been added and some gauges have been changed.
Features are Rob Barendregt Taxi Speed and Pushback gauges (latest
version). Coyote Garmin Avionics Radio Stack (with users guide).
A complete repaint of the main panel. FS2002 SIMICONS, Chuck
Dome's mini GPS, and the YG-7500 Radar Altimeter (also with
documentation) 64 Gauges in all on the main panel alone. Tom

This is the second version of my previous CFS2 guns release. After it was posted, I've waited for comments and suggestions from users because nothing is perfect and it's always good to improve, since many heads are better than one. Some users kindly suggested to me to make all wave files stereo. Some original CFS2 guns were already mono so I thought beforehand it was not that important (the fifty cal. is mono in CFS2). But of course, if we have to do it, let's do it the best possible. I found it both challenging and exciting. So I did my homework and here they are !! the full stereo wave files !! I hope they will fulfill all your aerial needs. By Serge Tremblay.

FSX Temco Pinto Jet Trainer

First flown in 1956, the Temco TT-1 Pinto was developed in an unsuccessful bid to entice the U.S. Navy to adopt a jet primary trainer. The Super Pinto, with three times the power, was developed for the Air Force requirement that led to the Cessna A-37 Dragonfly. When the ex-Navy Pintos were modified to Super standards they found their niche on the airshow circuit as high performance jet warbirds. This package, designed and developed by David Wooster, incudes a variety of several authentic liveries and a fictional one. The focus of my update lies upon both an entirely newly designed VC and 2D panel. Thanks to David Wooster for his great original model.
New VC and 2D panel as well as new smoke and burner effect by Michael Pook. May also work in FS2004.

FSX Douglas Skystreak

The Douglas Skystreak was a single-jet research aircraft of the 1940s, designed by the Douglas Aircraft Company in 1945.
The package, originally by Craig Richardson,
features a new designed VC so now all of the gauges are visible. Some of them were partially covered by cockpit framing. It also includes a new 2D panel, since the default one was so large that you could not look out the cockpit.
This is the whole aircraft. New panel configuration by Michael Pook.
