This is my tribute package for the last flight of Challenger; STS-51L. Based upon historical documentation and personal development of orbital state vectors for the expected flight events I have created the following scenarios using the available components from the "STS_Payloads" package and my previously release extension package for the Shuttle Fleet. Godspeed to Challenger and her crew; let this package be a celebration of their dream.

FSX/P3Dv3 and 4 Vought Corsair F4U-1a. The Corsair entered service in 1942. Although designed as a carrier fighter, initial operation from carrier decks proved to be troublesome. Its low-speed handling was tricky. Landing a Corsair on a carrier was a difficult task. For these reasons, most Corsairs initially went to Marine Corps squadrons which operated off land-based runways. The U.S. Navy did not get into combat with the type until September 1943. FSX/P3D 3&4 Boeing 787-8 Hainan Airlines package with new enhanced VC. Hainan Airlines is China's 4th largest airline in fleet size and currently (July 2017) operate 10 Boeing 787-8 aircraft. The wonderful Boeing 787-8 from TDS will be enjoyed by many more people who do not know how to install a VC into a FSX native model. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model blended with Ken Wiggington's work on the default 737 VC to make it more resemble a 787. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing sounds included for that extra realism. I added the great textures by Dietmar Hann. FSX deHavilland Comet Update. This is an update for FSX of the default DeHavilland Comet from FS004 (aircraft from FS2004 required). You need the original for this to work. I have updated the flight dynamics and the panel so the aircraft flys better and works in FSX. This update will also work in FS9. Bob Chicilo. 40K

FS2004 VUSCG RQ-4A Global Hawk. The HAEUAV (High Altitude Endurance Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) will provide long-range surveillance over large areas for extended periods of time. These assets will provide a portion of the long-range surveillance capability that will be lost when legacy HC-130s are retired at the end of their useful service life. HAEUAVs will possess the ability to transmit data and EO/IR imagery to shore-based Command and Control (C2) centers as part of the Common Operational Picture (COP). FSX/P3D Airbus A350-900XWB United Airlines fictional '2022' package. One of the proposed liveries. United Airlines is the world's 4th largest airline and based in Chicago with it's main hub at Chicago–O'Hare. As of May 2019, United has 45 Airbus A350-900 on order with deliveries expected to begin in 2022. There is a new livery expected and this is one of those put forward for the A350 which is the source of my repaint. As of May 2019, Aeroflot have 15 A350-900 on order with deliveries expected to begin in 2020. Added the better Thomas Ruth VC with updates by Louis Quintero and Chris Evans. The Airbus A350 XWB is a family of long-range, twin-engine wide-body jet airliners from the European aircraft maker Airbus. The A350 is the first Airbus aircraft with both fuselage and wings made mainly from carbon fibre structure. The A350 is intended to replace the A340 and compete with Boeing's 787 and 777. Textured, assembled and tested in P3Dv4.3 and should be ok in FSX and earlier P3D versions by Chris Evans.
