The "Boo", as it was known, was an excellent cargo lifter, in spite of its ungainly appearance. With outstanding short/rough field capability, it could lift useful loads into almost any airstrip. Caribou production ended in 1973 after 307 had been built, most of which were for military customers. FSX/FS2004 Yakovlev Yak-28P Supersonic Soviet Recon aircraft. The Yak-28, based on the Yak-27, was the bigger one of a swept wing, turbojet-powered combat aircraft used by the Soviet Union. Produced initially as a tactical bomber (first flight 1958), later there were also reconnaissance-, electronic warfare-, interceptor- and trainer versions, known by the NATO names Brewer or Firebar. Fokker DR1 Dreidecker No.425/17 was flown by Rittmeister Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen on 21 April 1918 when he was Shot down and killed. The panel incorporates an actual picture of the control column used by the Red Baron. The engine BMP also incorporates an actual picture of the Oberursel UR.II Rotary Engine used in the actual plane. You have a choice of either a all red top surface or a red and white top surface. The red and white textures are already installed and there are backups for them.
