The Convair B-58 Hustler was the first operational jet bomber capable of Mach 2 flight. The aircraft was developed for the United States Air Force for service in the Strategic Air Command (SAC) during the 1960s. It used a delta wing, which was also employed by Convair fighters such as the F-102, with four General Electric J79 engines in underwing pods. It carried five nuclear weapons; four on pylons under the wings, and one nuclear weapon and fuel in a combination bomb/fuel pod under the fuselage, rather than in an internal bomb bay. Replacing the Boeing B-47 Stratojet medium bomber, it was originally intended to fly at high altitudes and supersonic speeds to avoid Soviet fighters. The B-58 was notorious for its sonic boom, which was often heard by the public as it passed overhead in supersonic flight. The package is an FSX/P3d (V.3) update of my previous update, now including the original livery and two new Camo repaints.VC and 2D panel are now equipped with new (more authentic) gauges with GPS, radios and radar in the popup windows. Automatic smoke and afterburner added. Thanks to Massimo Altieri for the original FS2004 model and to Philippe Wallaert for some of the gauges as well as to the unknown designers of the other gauges used with this update. The Bristol Bombay was designed to serve both as a bomber and a troop transport. It first flew in 1935. It was too obsolete to use as a bomber in Western Europe when the war broke out but served admirably in the Middle East. This is a native FSX Acceleration model. It is painted for service in the Middle East desert. The Pegasus sound file is by Gary Jones. The VC has animated flight controls, working gauges and is based on photo's of similar aircraft of the same era. By Paul Clawson

FSAdventureSky Flight--Back in 1942, German Guerrero was only 23 and a young Lieutenant in the Peruvian Army. His assigned duty was in the Amazon Jungle of Peru where he served for four years. Every four months he would get a pass for one week to go see his young wife in Lima. He told me many stories of those days, some of awe and some of "high doubts":). German was a great friend and this is an example of the "flights in the Catalina" which he took to return to civilization and embrace his wife for a few days. This is the flight of FAP 559, a Consolidated Catalina, from 667-CER, an army base located in MANU (SPNU) to 778-CER and then on to Lima. Its was in the hight of the "rainy Season" and the pilot flew below the clouds over the jungle and high Andes Mountains under heavy rain all the way. Can you fly it and stand the rigors of it safely?....here is your chance.

This is an update for FSX/FS9 of the Mig-21F Fishbed by Ricardo Batalha. I have updated the flight dynamics, given it a 2D panel, changed the afterburners and smoke effects, changed the position of the beacon and strobe lights, and reduced the fuel so it is not overweight. I changed the VC hud, but the rest of the VC was not good enough to try and fix better. This is the whole aircraft.
