12.60Mb (1973 downloads)
FSX/FS2004 Gloster F5/34 “Sea Guardian”Package. Fictional FAA “Sea Guardian” model of the last of the Gloster fighter designs created by H P Folland, the single-seat all-metal cantilever monoplane evolved to Specification F.5/34 (which ultimately produced the Hurricane and the Spitfire) was powered by an 840hp Mercury IX nine-cylinder radial engine and carried an armament of eight 7.7mm Browning guns. This aircraft, to which no designation was assigned other than that of the specification that it was intended to meet, suffered somewhat protracted development owing to the company's preoccupation with the Gladiator. The first of two prototypes did not commence flight trials until December 1937, with the second following in March 1938. By the time that the Gloster fighter made its debut, the Hurricane had entered service and the Spitfire had reached production, and further development of the Mercury-engined monoplane was not pursued. Model and textures by Bill Holker, modified airfile and gauges from various freeware releases and Microsoft FS, sound file downloaded from Sim Outhouse. For FSX operation the Glass texture file needs to be converted to a DXT3 bit map. 12.9MB

19.75Mb (1972 downloads)
Goa International Airport, more commonly known as Dabolim Airport, is an international airport located in the city of Dabolim in Goa, India. It is the only airport in the state and operates as a civil enclave in a military airbase named INS Hansa. It is 4 km from the nearest city Vasco da Gama, 23 km from the South Goa district headquarters of Margao, and 30 km from the capital city Panjim.[4] Terminal 1 - Domestic Less than a dozen airlines compete in the domestic market. There are 132 airports in India which can be categorised in sometimes overlapping ways into public sector, private sector, civil enclaves, international, metro, and non-metro. Goa is connected to all six main cities in India: Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai & Kolkata. There are multiple flights to Mumbai per day, operated by over 5 airlines. The first Goa - Mumbai domestic flight leaves at around 0700 in the morning and the last flight leaves at around 2350. Terminal 2 - International. There are two versions for Goa International airport included in this package. One with the old ICAO code and then the other with the new ICAO code. The new coded airport scenery has no AI traffic. - If you decide to use the VOGO scenery then, you will have to activate the dummy VAGO files as well. - It is important to set the display scenery mesh resolution to at least 19m and the texture resolution to at least 60m. Failing to do so may result in unwanted terrain abnormalities. -Alternate boundary texture to be used at your own risk. Only use if you know what you are doing. This scenery was created with ADE9X, SbuilderX313, Gimp2.1, XML Marker, DXTBmp.

Misawa Air Base, Japan
Misawa Air Base, Japan
Misawa Air Base, Japan (Category: FSX > Scenery)
6.86Mb (1972 downloads)
Watch the air base transform into full property coverage that includes more life-like flightline and taxiways, new models for true-to-life hangers, terminals, and key buildings, including the Main Gate, Exchange buildings, 9 story apartment buildings, and key elements at the Security Hill Antenna farm. See the gigantic FLR-9 (Elephant Cage) antenna and Echeleon radomes. The taxiways, polys, and roadways were corrected and updated via background image tracing in the ADE tool. The area of the Air base tripled in size. See also attached civil installations of the Misawa Airport and the Misawa Aeronautical Museum on the east end of the runway. Also take note of the Misawa AMC Terminal and added forest polygons. The scenery looks best under the summer season. This is my first release of the air base.
