" German Guerrero's Leave "

FSAdventureSky Flight--Back in 1942, German Guerrero was only 23 and a young Lieutenant in the Peruvian Army. His assigned duty was in the Amazon Jungle of Peru where he served for four years. Every four months he would get a pass for one week to go see his young wife in Lima. He told me many stories
of those days, some of awe and some of "high doubts":). German was a great friend and this is an example of the "flights in the Catalina" which he took to return to civilization and embrace his wife for a few days.
This is the flight of FAP 559, a Consolidated Catalina, from 667-CER, an army base located in MANU (SPNU)
to 778-CER and then on to Lima. Its was in the hight of the "rainy Season" and the pilot flew below the clouds
over the jungle and high Andes Mountains under heavy rain all the way. Can you fly it and stand the rigors
of it safely?....here is your chance.

It was first manufactured by the Engineering and Research Corporation (ERCO) shortly before World War II; several other manufacturers continued its production after the war. The final unit was completed in 1968. It was designed to be the safest fixed-wing aircraft that aerospace engineering could provide at the time, and the type continues to enjoy a faithful following. 2017 update of the Alphasim CF-105 (www.virtavia,com) in FSX native, MDL X materials and animations: Updated materials and glass, added spec maps, texture wrap applied to radome.
Dragchute added on water rudder command.
Missiles on dropable object conditions, flying/exploding when it hits. Sparrow II model included, matches modeled armament.Missiles only show from a saved flight with weapons loaded, saved flight included from San Nicholas
out in the channel Islands west of Catalina.
Overall, a much better presentation.

Mig-21F Fishbed update

This is an update for FSX/FS9 of the Mig-21F
Fishbed by Ricardo Batalha. I have updated
the flight dynamics, given it a 2D panel,
changed the afterburners and smoke effects,
changed the position of the beacon and strobe
lights, and reduced the fuel so it is not
overweight. I changed the VC hud, but the
rest of the VC was not good enough to try and
fix better. This is the whole aircraft.
