The Convair B-58 Hustler was the first operational jet bomber capable of Mach 2 flight. The aircraft was developed for the United States Air Force for service in the Strategic Air Command (SAC) during the 1960s. It used a delta wing, which was also employed by Convair fighters such as the F-102, with four General Electric J79 engines in underwing pods. It carried five nuclear weapons; four on pylons under the wings, and one nuclear weapon and fuel in a combination bomb/fuel pod under the fuselage, rather than in an internal bomb bay. Replacing the Boeing B-47 Stratojet medium bomber, it was originally intended to fly at high altitudes and supersonic speeds to avoid Soviet fighters. The B-58 was notorious for its sonic boom, which was often heard by the public as it passed overhead in supersonic flight. The package is an FSX/P3d (V.3) update of my previous update, now including the original livery and two new Camo repaints.VC and 2D panel are now equipped with new (more authentic) gauges with GPS, radios and radar in the popup windows. Before the First World War, airships had been used as commercial airline carriers and for reconnaissance vehicles by the Army, no one had considered using them as bombers. Designed by Count Ferdinand Von Zeppelin, the airships were built from a rigid cigar shaped metal structure of circular frames connected by longitudinal beams. This made them strong enough to be fitted with engines and to carry a useful payload. There were steering fins at the rear and gondolas suspended below for the crew and engines. More crew compartments were inside the main frame as well as spaces for cargo and bags that contained the hydrogen gas for lift.

FS2004 Delta Boeing 797 V2. Versions 2 is an all new 180 pax, features a "near elliptical" fuselage cross-section for 2-3-2 configuration that could be announced by Paris Air Show 2011. CFS2 P51A Mustang 2-Pack. This file contains two complete aircraft, a U.S. P51A and an RAF Mustang I. Powered by an Allison Engine, the early Mustang had a very different look from the better known B and D models. The 2 aircraft included here originated as a "B" model by A.F. Scrub but have now been redesigned to have the proper hood scoop and lower cowl for the Allison Engine. The dp was created to use stock CFS2 weapons so it is limited but you can change it if you like. The air file was adapted from a "B" model to reflect the earlier engine and everything else is "stock" MS. Modified by William Dickens 1.9MB

FS2004 Grand Forks Air Force Base, Grand Forks, North Dakota. Grand Forks AFB is currently(as of 20 APRIL 2008) home to the 319th Air Refueling Wing. With three remaining refueling squadrons(905th, 906th and 912th), the base supports roughly 36 KC-135R/T tankers. 6.6MB

FS2004 Santa Catalina Island (KAVX), California (CA) Scenery Package. High-res photoreal scenery. This scenery contains the whole Santa Catalina Island which is located about 30 miles south of Los Angeles. It covers an area of 190 sq km in super crisp 1.2m/pix resolution.
