FS2004 Alderney Airport (EGJA) is located on the island of Alderney in the Channel Islands. I have travelled in and out of the island on many occasions and, despite the lack general lack of information on the internet about the airport, this is a pretty accurate representation. Features include accurate control tower, accurate terminal building, grass parking area, static aircraft, ground vehicles, car park, fire-station, surrounding trees, perimeter fencing and more. Trappers Lake, located in the north of the area inspired Arthur Carhart, a US Forest Service official, to initiate a plea for Wilderness preservation as early as 1919. Finally in 1975, three years before his death in 1978, the Flat Tops were designated a wilderness area. No wonder he found the area so entrancing: behind Trappers Lake loom majestic volcanic cliffs, and beyond them a vast subalpine terrain reluctantly yields to alpine tundra with an average elevation of about 10,000 feet. Although it was reported this order was cancelled other reports suggest there are still orders for the 787-8 as part of Aeroflot's aquisition of long range modern aircraft, along with the A350 for example. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model blended with Ken Wiggington's work on the default 737 VC to make it more resemble a 787.
