X-Plane 11 Aeroworx Douglas C-47 Dakota Beta 2.5. The Douglas C47 is a twin-engined low wing transport aircraft, powered by Twin Wasp R1830-90C engines. Between 1935 and 1947 Douglas built a total of 10,654 of the type and over 80 years later there are still almost 1,000 in flying condition. This magnificent aircraft was originally designed by Manfred Jahn, Jan Visser and Team and is being flown by hundreds of happy users. At the end of July, Aeroworx obtained the permission to port this aircraft to X-Plane. As members of the South African Airways Museum Society, we have direct access to their C-47 and also a few other DC-3/C-47's. Getting good photographs is no problem, the crews flying and maintaining these aircraft are also extremely helpful in providing us with documentation, advice, etc. This aircraft features a fully 3D vintage virtual cockpit, with dozens of mouse click-able animations. The Sperry is the primary autopilot, but for the more "modern" guys, a G530 is available as a pop-up. This is a public beta version, PLEASE read the "Release Notes" attached to the download. It was sold to Cargolux International only 5 years later, which in turn sold it to Korean Airlines in 1986. This is the great Project OpenSky POSKY742FJT9A123B2 model, originally created for FS9, converted for FSX. Full animations including rotating nose wheel, flexi-wings, opening cargo doors (including nose and side door) and jetway ready main exit door. No POSKY Ground Services (AGS). 18 wheels contact points with new ground effects. Realistic Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7 Turbofans engines and environment custom sound pack, original by Mike Maarse modified for a better 4 engines configuration. Custom 2D panel based on Ready for Pushback (RFP) panel with day and night textures (No VC). Panel uses mostly Concorde gauges and Ken Mitchell's Boeing 747-200 xml gauges. KFHR Friday Harbor Airport Photorealistic. Friday Harbor Airport is a GA airport located just southwest of Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, Washington. This Scenery consists of the FSX default airport of Friday Harbor, set on photorealistic terrain. Although the scenery has been compiled with night masks, night terrain has been excluded to reduce the file size. It has been designed for Megasceneryearth photoreailtic scenery of the San Juan Islands but will also work with the default terrain. Seasonal variations are not included. The main scenery file has been subdivided into several smaller files, which can be switched off according to user preference. Full night textures are included with wash lighting in the terminal and carpark areas. All buildings have been custom modelled using real photographs, and include open hangers with interiors. Next to the fuel station you will find Ernie's Cafe, much loved by resident and visiting pilots. Close to the airport you will find US style houses modelled on real photographs from the San Juan island. Surfaced airport taxiways and aprons have been kept to a minimum to allow the photoreal textures to show through. The scenery also includes sound effects and high definition people, these can be switched off if they place too much strain on your system. Thanks to George Keogh for creating this.

Soviet Delfin Swath Light Fleet Carrier project, Project 115 Udaloy II DDG Ca 1987. The Soviet kick at the Sea Control Ship can, one of the 'Dolphin' studies resulted in this handsome Swath (Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull) Light fleet with a freestyle/Helix airgroup. The only information I had to work with was a small photo of a presentation model. Best guess- length:662 ft, Beam:210 ft oa, flight deck 637 ft x 193 ft, displacement approx 17-20,000 tons. The Udaloy II DDG is a general purpose vairiant of the Udaloy I ASW DDG. Optimised as a multi role fleet escort with enhansed ASUW/AA and General purpose armament.Of the same vintage and role as the US Spruance class DDH/DDG, The Udaloys have not enjoyed quite the same sucess as the Spruance class, only a singe Udaloy II entering service. With attached effects versions, no effects, with and with out deckpark. Night maps and internal illumination. versions included.Also includes a update pack for Hadi Tahir's YaK-141 V.2, featuring a number of repaints, adds radar to the panel that will detect AI ships, and some nudges to the config file to make the model easier to handle aboard and in transitional flight. FS2002 / FS2004 / FSX Military Scenery Objects Inspired by the superior work of Michael Carr I have developed a small library of Ground Service Equipment. These objects are mostly painted in the standard yellow drab you find at many military bases. As with all my work the emphasis is on Frame-Rates and not microscopic reality so squint a little and pretend. Some of these objects have been included in my earlier scenery releases and I now present the complete collection as a library for use with XML base scenery object placement programs like Runway12 and EZ_ Scenery from Abacus. FS2002/FS2004 FSTransparency. FSTransparency is a free program that creates MS FlightSim-style transparent textures from any image for custom smoke and water effects as well as aircraft components. The program supports three modes of determining alpha values: color masks, luminance, and color proximity. The results can be scaled to any texture size and a custom color palette can be applied to create impressive effects from even grayscale images.
