This version of the NASA SRTM DEM data, processed by the people at CGIAR-CSI, Kings College, London - is a considerable improvement on previous versions. It is considered to be the highest quality SRTM 90m dataset available. So I thought it would be a good idea to process it, so you FSX users out there could use it. CFS FS98 Bell P-400 Airacobra 'Impatient Virgin', USAAC 67th Fighter Squadron, 347th Fighter Group. Henderson Field, Guadalcanal, November 1942 (CFS ONLY PACKAGE). Updated for FS98 with animated prop, landing gear, and flaps. P-400 was the US designation given to the British 'Model-14' export version of the Airacobra following the enactment of the Lend-Lease Act. Since the British canceled their order, the US Army requisitioned a number of P-400s in the days after Pearl Harbor due to a shortage of modern fighters. FS2004 Aero C 3A/Siebel 204D - Multipurpose transport airplane Siebel 204D was produced in the Czech territory during the Second World War. After liberation in 1945 the production continued in the factory AERO, basic versions was named "Aero C 3" and "Aero C 103". 179 planes were built, they were used as transport, bombers and the version "C 3A" as a trainer - pilots and navigators of Ilyushin Il-28 remember their beginings with "Siebel". Repaint of Dan Watkins' excellent Shorts CS-7 Skyvan, showing the external livery of MACKEY International. The airline operated mainly between points in Florida, USA to many places in The Bahamas like Bimini, Freeport, Nassau as well as the Turks & Caicos Islands. Besides the larger DC-6’s and CV-440’s they also operated a fleet of smaller aircraft like the Twin Otter, Shorts Skyvan and Piper PA-31. These were used on routes to the smaller islands with less passenger traffic as well as islands that did not physically accomodate the larger aircraft. This repaint shows Shorts Skyvan N3419 in the Mackey livery of that period, the 1970's. This is a repaint only, requires the model by Dan Watkins. Repaint by Jaap de Baare.
