The Bell P-59 Airacomet was the first American jet. Though not a successful fighter, the P-59's career ran from 1943 until 1949, providing the U.S. Army, Air Force and Navy with experience at operating jets. This package features four models and four authentic paints depicting the Airacomet's service history from the service test YP-59A to the operational P-59A and P-59B. Three fictional paints show liveries that Airacomets might have worn if they'd been more successful and saw more widespread service. The package features the Airacomet, designed by David Wooster, but now has an entirely newly designed VC and a 2D panel, which is based on Kazunori Ito's panel for his version of the Airacomet. B-52H Stratofortress Panel for CFS2/FS2002 This panel has the look and feel of a B-52H instrument panel & this panel is not intended to be an accurate reproduction of a true B-52H cockpit. This cockpit is highly detailed and the BMP's are as close to the real aircraft as I could do with the pictures that I could locate on the web. Panel has been tested in CFS2/FS2002 and has not been tested in FS2000. When and where possible the use of gauges as accurate to the real aircraft have been used. The Navy was happy enough with their PBM-1s to order 379 improved "Model 162Bs" or "PBM-3s" in the fall of 1940, with the ultimate quantity being about twice that number. FS2002 Aircraft-McDonnell Douglas MD 81 JAPAN AIR SYSTEM Aircraft by Stewart Global and Flight FX Paint job: MARCELO ALLENDE. The MD-80 v2.0 brings a new aircraft fully compatible with FS2002. You will find that we've completely redone most of the model, making it completely Gmax. It features the latest reflection including dynamic shine, lighting, and animation technology including accurate flaps, landing gears, and thrust reversers and dynamic wing views. This is only the first in a line of MD aircraft. Next will likely be the MD83 or 87 as well as the DC9-51. The FDE is the superb MD80 FDE by Sam Chin with modifications by Mike Baumann, and the model is by Jonathan Stewart and Erick Cantu. This aircraft is truly a multi-group effort, one of many to come.
