FSX/FS2004 Seafire Mk-IIc WW2 fighter In late 1941 and early 1942, the Admiralty assessed the Spitfire for possible conversion to naval use.The main structural change was made to the lower rear fuselage which incorporated an A-frame style arrestor hook and strengthened lower longerons.The IIc was the first of the Seafires to be deployed operationally in large numbers. These aircraft were built by Cunliffe-Owen and equipped with Naval HF radio equipment and IFF equipment as well as a Type 72 homing beacon.They had clipped, fixed wings and were powered by a low altitude Merlin 32 specifically manufactured for naval use. I've marked aircraft from this "batch" Mk 2.95. Aircraft with this mark are to replace any older version. What's new? New and improved texture/templates on FS Aircraft. All templates for FS Aircraft were made out of scrap by me. CFS Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI. The largest aero plane constructed and utilized in WWI, the Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI was the pinnacle of aviation technology in 1917. From Sept. 1917 until Aug. 1918 this type R-plane dropped 27,190kg of bombs on Englands mainland. Not one single R-plane was lost in combat to enemy fire. This model closely represents R.39/16, with four Maybach Mb.Iva powerplants, has animated alerions elevator and rudders, as well as the front and rear gunners and guns rotate with rudder movement.
