CFS2 MS-406. Equipping 19 of the 26 French fighter groups available in May of 1940, the M.S. 406 was the most numerous fighter available to combat the Germans. However, severely underpowered, unprotected, and underarmed, the M.S. 496 proved to be as easy to shoot down as it was to fly. Model file, airfile, DP, and base textures by Thicko. Skins by Morton. widefs.zip. WIDESERVER and WIDECLIENT - Version 5.3, October 2001 Network interface for FS98, FS2000, FS2002 and CFS2 applications using the FS6IPC interface. Use version 2,73 or later of FSUIPC with this version of WideFS. This is VERY important if you are running FS2000 or FS2002 since WideFS not only no longer provides many of the variables directly, but only provides offset writing capabilities using facilities added to FSUIPC. Also be sure to match versions of WideClient and WideServer. This is often essential for correct connections, as the protocol being used is developed and may be subject to subtle changes in each new version. by Pete Dowson. 135K

                  MAAM-SIM DC-3 Repaint Templates
FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM DC-3 Repaint Templates (Category: FS Design > Aircraft Paintkits)
16.78Mb (1385 downloads)
FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM DC-3 Repaint Templates These are 24-bit templates on which to base repaints of the FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM DC-3 available from Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. They cannot be used with the default FS2004 DC-3. This is not a 'paint kit' as such, as the original MAAM-SIM DC-3 bitmaps are partly photoreal. Rather, these are semi-finished templates on which to base further work. This initial package comprises bare metal and white top liveries for the base Passenger and Cargo DC-3 models in different variations, together with revised alpha channel templates. Simple instructions are included. These base textures reflect commonly found "background" configurations for many liveries, and will save repainters time by not having to get rid of the default colour schemes found in the original package before starting work. Please note that further templates will be issued to complement any future versions of the MAAM-SIM model. The intention is that those templates can be added to this base 'paintkit' folder, the methodology and basic instructions being similar for all paints. Where changes to the model invoke changes in texture mapping or other differences, this will be noted with each new package provided. By Mark Beaumont for MAAM-SIM, based on original textures by Jan Visser. File name: MAAMkit1.ZIP. 17.2MB

FS2000 Jet Engine! (Category: FS2000 > Misc)
1.53Mb (1385 downloads)
FS2000 Jet Engine! Ever thought that the engines supplied with your aircraft looked slightly less than realistic. I know I have, so I thought I'd have a go at my own, I brought FSDS and have now produced a turbofan based on the CFM56 family. I should be interested in its effect of framerates on different users systems. If anyone is interested I will foward the FSDS files for them to include in their own aircraft. Using it in FS2K was fun, never flown just an engine before!. Brian Franklin. 1.5MB
