"Bridges of ToKoRi-Skyraider" Mission.
I've been hearing in forums and at Korea Vet sights that the Skyraider
and the Skyraider pilots were the real attackers of the North Korean
bridge missions that the movie "Bridges of ToKoRi" was based on. By

FS2004
An Khe Airfield and the An Khe "Golf Course" Airfield, Vietnam.
This Vietnam scenery includes two airfields: An Khe Airfield
and the An Khe "Golf Course" Airfield. An Khe was located at
the eastern end of a strategic mountain pass, about midway between
Pleiku and Qui Nhon. An Khe Airfield was a US Army facility
for fixed wing (prop) aircraft. It had a 4,300' concrete runway.
The nearby An Khe "Golf Course" Airfield was a huge helicopter
base operated by the 1st Cavalry. Its vast parking area could
accommodate several hundred helicopters. Both airfields are
a single entry in the FS airport database. The airport code
is VVAK. Runway 03/21 is the An Khe airfield and runway 17/35
is the "Golf Course" airfield. George Knowles. 407K

FS2002/FS2004
SAAB J21R.
The SAAB 21R was a Swedish first Jet powered fighter/attack
aircraft that saw service in the late 1940s. It was a jet-powered
development of the piston-engined Saab 21. As a fighter, its
service designation in the Swedish Air Force was J21R. The 21R
was powered by a De Havilland Goblin 3 turbojet and was Sweden's
first jet powered aircraft to be developed and built domestically.
There were few differences between the 21 and the 21R, aside
from the method of propulsion. The most notable difference was
that the tailplane was raised to the top of the fins, moving
it out of the way of the jet blast. Three kinds of models(Clean
/ with Radar / with Missile) are included. ny Kazunori Ito.

and 180hp Lycoming engine makes it fairly fast and it is perfect
plane for cross country flying. Also a retractable gear version
has been made and it is designated 177 RG. Cardinals were made
until 1978. This FSDS design includes full moving parts, virtual
cockpit, transparent canopy with glass reflections and an instrument
panel with 360 degree cockpit bitmaps. Designed by Mikko Maliniemi.

Fairchild Merlin 3 Update.
This is an update for FS 9 of the Fairchild Merlin 3 by Mike
Stone (here).
I have updated the flight dynamics, added the other wheels,
added toggle icons and a trim gauge to the panel, changed the
touchdown effect, eliminated the need for the popup bit map
in the panel, and made it easier to see over the nose. Bob Chicilo.
